Curry Contest

To make up for my short chapters this one shall be normal size (so about 1000-2000 words) Also fun fact! Did you know if you read the lyrics to "God Save the Queen" backwards it could be used for a king.

Narrative

Soma laid on his bed sobbing and ranting over his resent misfortunes. Unbeknownst to him a monster lurked around the outside of his room. The blanket was lazily tossed over his form as he cried, the monster harshly ripped the sheets off of him sending him to the floor with a shocked yelp "What do you think you are doing!?" He shouted at the intruder who turned out to be Sebastian "He is obeying an order."  The girl spoke from the door, she had her arms crossed and an emotionless look about her "If you allow others actions to effect you, you will get no where." She spoke sternly "What matters in life is what you do with it, how you move about it, the choices you make through out it and the experiences you allow yourself to go through and act on." She turned to him "Those that have left you, be it willingly or not do not matter, if you truly wish to find out why they left, then get up and find out, don't just sit their wondering and sulking about it." She looked down at him "Sit here all night, or leave. You are of no use to us the way you are now." With that she turned on her heel and left the Prince as her butler followed her.

They made it down the hall when the Prince shouted "Please wait!" Soma ran up to them, taking a few breaths to relax before speaking once more "Your words have struck cords inside me, I see now that I am in the wrong. It is simple for people to complain about their lives, to not act to better it or themselves. But I wish to change, I want to know what I did to send Agni away, and I want to know what happened to Mina, please I wish to help you, I feel it is my responsibility to help you." He looked at the girl with new found determination "Fine. You will help Sebastian in the kitchen, you are the only one who has tasted Agnis curry, help him pick a curry that may win the contest." She spoke before taking her leave. "Please follow me Prince Soma, we must get started." Sebastian spoke as he lead the Prince to the kitchen.

"Don't you look like a knight on the chess bored." Sebastian spoke as he dressed his master "Shut it. Did you have to tie the bandages around my chest so tight? It feels like a corset!" The girl complained "I'm sorry, but we wouldn't want them to flop out if you move a certain way." He spoke as he followed her out of the room and down the stairs, he wore his butler outfit while she wore a blue vest, black shorts, white socks and black dress shoes, she had a small hat placed gently atop her head, her sword could be heard clattering around her waist as she walked.

Your P.O.V

There was a large crowd inside the building waiting for the contest to start, all contestants were behind the stage preparing "Oh I am so excited! Yes I am!" May-rin cheered as Bard and Finny nodded "You three, best behavior, be what a Phantomhive servant is suppose to be." I ordered sternly the saluted and spoke in unison "Yes Sir!"

The contest was getting underway, the contestants were on stage as the judges stood and the host talked, just as he was to give the order to set everything into motion trumpets went off and people turned and gasped "The Queen!" "Her Majesty!" They cheered out as the Queen of England stood before them with her head butler Ash, as she started walking music played and most of her people sang Britains Anthem of "God Save the Queen" once she made it to her seat and sat down she spoke to her butler "Her majesty bids me tell you, my sincerest apologies that I have not made a public appearance in such a long time, but I am glad to tell you I am in perfect health and may enjoy curry once more, just as I did with my late husband." With that everyone cheered happily and the contest began.

Everything was getting fired up, people were cheering left and right, Sebastian and Agni were the two most popular, the Queen stayed silent as the judges made comments here and there. Sebastian dropped some chocolate into the curry, I was surprised this disgusted people, negative comments from both the judges and the crowd, Agni and he shared a few words I couldn't make them out but once they were done he glanced at me with his signature smirk of cockiness, I rolled my eyes but grinned.
