This was ridiculous, we moved in sink but then mistakes would be made. I let out an audible groan as my foot landed on his "Young Miss, you need to look at your partner while dancing." Sebastian spoke, as if that were the only problem "No, I need to learn the foot steps before even thinking about looking at you." I growled as we tried again, "Can we move onto something else for now?" I sighed pulling away from his embrace "We can come back to this later today, I just need a break." I looked at him before headed to a side table and looking at the list that held my schedule for the day "Next is sword practice." I read heading out if the room "Fine, we will practice your swordmanship, but after that is lunch then right back to dancing." Sebastian followed me "Fine, why must I dance anyway... I hate it." I groaned again.
Our swords clashed we moved in sync as we dodged blows and hits, our feet moved along side the other, yes it was like dancing in a way, but dancing you are so close to each other, no room, whereas sword fighting, no room for error, you mess up, you die, you have a certain distance from your enemy or partner, to me dancing with blades was simpler then just dancing for fun, "You let your guard down." Sebastian spoke in a monotone voice as he tried striking me from behind, a sneak attack huh? He brought his sword down only for me to swing around and clash swords once again "Next time... shut up or you will lose." I stated "You have gotten better indeed miss." He smirked down at me while jumping away from me. He pulled out his watch "It has been 2 hours of this, we should take a break fo-" he was interrupted by my sword coming down just above his throat, any closer and it would cut him "Seems someone forgot the first rule of sword play." I gave him a smug look "Come now, you could have really killed me master." He looked at me with a pout "Kill you? Oh my I didn't know a fake sword could kill a demon." I pulled away "Here, give me your sword, I will put them up while you go make lunch." I said holding my hand out for his blade.
I sat in the garden on the fountain over looking the hedge maze, I waited patiently for Sebastian to bring my lunch "Are you alright young master?" A voice spoke next to me, it was Finny, my gardener "Oh yes, I am. Why do you ask?" I questioned "You were looking off with a sad expression, I was just checking in really." He gave me a smile "Oh, I'm fine, thank you for worrying." I stood up "Alright then, excuse me I have a few more chores to do." He waved before running off.
~Time skip~
"Yes, that is it, keep going." Sebastian praised me, we had took up dancing again, I was doing better, by better I mean I stepped on his feet less than before "Shut up." I hissed as we did the turn and dip "Nicely done master. I am proud of you." He spoke while looking at me, still holding me down in the dip "Whatever, this should be good enough for Elizabeth. We are done." I looked at him with a dull look "Yes the dance is tomorrow after all, though I wouldn't be shocked if you lost your skill before then." He smirked causing me to hit him in the head "Don't doubt your master." I pushed away from him, stepping back a few feet "It takes me months to forget things of no importance." I huffed out "If I may, could you remind me why you even have a fiance?" He asked while started to clean up around the room, a few lesson books from my history and English lesson laid about near the couch "I never told you?" I asked sitting down with a leg crossed over the other "No, honestly I was surprised when Lady Elizabeth first visited you, I would have never guess you were engaged to be married." He stated "I told you my parents thought I were to be a boy, so while I was still in the process of being created same too was Elizabeth, my mother knew here mother and they both shared their pregnancy news with each other, Elizabeth's mom knew she would be a girl, and my mother thought I were to be a boy, thus are engagement was born before we were." I put it bluntly "...and Lady Elizabeth knows nothing of you being a girl?" He looked at me while putting the books away "Yes, so when the time comes I will have to break the engagement with her, but never tell her I am female. That word alone could ruin my company, and my families name." I placed a finger on my family ring, I found it in the rubble of what use to be my old home "Certainly master. Though she will not like it, she adores you to much." He states "She will get over it. I shouldn't be loved anyway, I do belong to a demon after all." I looked over at him "Indeed you do, and I heard demons can be territorial when it comes to their property." He gives me a fake smile "Is that your way of flirting? Blunt and to the point, Sebastian I am to young for you. Any human is to young for you." I chuckled standing up and leaving the room.
