I feel it
I just need to know
I can feel it
Oh, deep inside
Deep, deep, down inside
I feel it
Yes, deep inside
Deep, deep, down inside
I feel it
Oh, deep inside
Deep, deep, down inside
I feel it
Yes, deep inside

Fade by Kanye West blares through the speakers. Neem opens the door for me, and I step out while fixing my suit jacket. My manager called this morning and told me I have a meeting with som show producers. I don't know why, it's not like I'm retired or anything but I guess I can see what this is all about.

Teyana said my publicist will be there to tell me along the lines if this is a good deal or not. I don't care how many fans it'll get me. If I don't want to do it, I'm not doing it. I enter the conference room, shaking hands with the producers. Alicia pulls out a seat for me to sit and I sit down, pulling the chair up.

"Hello. I'm Cheryl Kennington and this is Paul Deets. We're the producers of Tragedy to Fame. It's a new show and we're trying to work with people who've been through things but are famous now." She explains. I furrow my eyebrows, sitting back in the chair.

"So basically, you want me to talk about my shooting?" I question in clarification.

"Yes." They say in unison.

"No." I shrug and shake my head.

"Now wait, before you say no we have an offer. That offer is a $1 million dollar contract just to be on one show." Paul says.

"And because you're in the a-list celebrity rank, you will bring in more viewers. A wider fan base to both yourself and the show which could authorize Tragedy to Fame for its second season. You'll meet other stars who've been in similar situations so you'll feel comfortable." Alicia persuades. I shake my head no in laughter, licking my lips.

"I'm not doing it." I inform.

"Why not Darius?" Alicia questions annoyed. I sigh heavily, scratching the time of my head.

"Because that part of my life I put behind me. I talked about that earlier in my career. My fans have let that go, the tabloids have let it go and I'm letting it go. Y'all need to as well. Point blank." I argue.
