Bridges.
"Do I look ok?" De questions, stepping into the living room. I motion her to turn around with my finger, smirking at that thick frame of hers. She's gaining weight in all the right places, yet she thinks she's fat but she's not.
"Mm. You thicker than a Snickers gur." I approach with a southern accent. De throws her head back in a fit of laughter, holding her stomach.
"I seriously hate you." She chuckles as I kiss her ear down to her neck.
"You love me, you moaned that shit this morning. Making the headboard knock and all." I mumble against her neck. Deanda hisses, wrapping her hands around my neck.
"Don't start we have to go." She whines softly, pulling back. I pick my head up to view, lifting her head while studying her eyes to her lips.
"You look beautiful aight. Now go let Sharay do your hair so we can go." Deanda nods and walks off to the bedroom to finish getting ready. We have this dinner to attend. The whole team plus other celebrities will be there. It's a fundraiser and we have to dress formal. Of course I'm use to wearing some jeans and shirts and call it a day. I do look good in suit though, I can't lie about that.
After putting on my jacket, Deanda comes out with her coat and clutch. I grab my keys and let Sharay and De leave out first, following right behind. I help Deanda into the G Wagon, climbing into the back myself. Jarvis drives off and l glance over at De, rubbing her thigh as she scrolls through her phone. I'm guessing about business.
"You have a party promo request, but it's a strip club. Onyx." She confirms screw face. I laugh lowly, raising my brows as she frowns with a twisted lip.
"You don't have to accept it De. If you don't feel comfortable of me doing that." I shrug.
"It's not that I don't trust you or feel uncomfortable, it's just out of all places why a strip club?" She shakes her head and turn her attention towards me. I fix one of her curls, smiling as she does the same.
"You look good mamas." I compliment, licking my lips. She smirks, rolling her eyes.
"I always look good." She sasses.
"Oh now you always look good, but earlier you was just like,"do I look good?" She mushes my head causing me to laugh.
"You get on my nerves." She laughs, laying her head back on the head rest.
"You love me though. Lie and say you don't." I tell her with pursed lips.
"I don't." She sticks her tongue out at me and I nod, while not saying a word. I know we're just playing but I really didn't have a comeback, or felt like playing around anymore. We arrive to this huge ass mansion after a long ride, hell I forgot where we were going for a minute. They have this place built all the way up in the hills.
Jarvis opens the door for me, I hop out taking De's hand as she gets out. We walk the black carpet, posing for some pictures and ignore the press who question us. We enter the house and the dark lighting is dope. The music is blasting and it seems almost every celebrity from sports to acting is out here. We spot Nivea and Rasheed from afar, making our way over to them. Deanda gives them both a hug, I dap Sheed and give Nivea a hug afterward.
"Y'all look so bomb." Nivea comments.
"Yesssss. The red and black on fleek, but y'all black on black is fierce chile." Deanda compliments, holding Nivea's hand as she spins.
"You've been hanging around Arthur too long and we're trying to keep up with y'all." Nivea laughs.
"I'm going to get something to drink, y'all want something?" I question. They all shake their heads no so I maneuver through the crowd. I order a soda because I'm trying to stop the drinking. It's not really fair that I'm drinking and De isn't. I know when I drink in front of her, she might feel some type of way. It's best I don't do that because she's been clean for a year. Let's keep it that way.
