"We'll offer a $30 million dollar contract for two years including
free merchandise of Adidas sports wear." Kirk Haines, the CEO of Adidas convinces.

"Why do that when we just offered a $50 million dollar contract for four years, with free murchandise and a sneaker line with his choice of design." Frank McKinley, the CEO of Nike argues. I'm on a conference call with both men, Hainer in Germany and Parker is in Oregon. They've been throwing deals at me all morning, even argued with one another.

I'm letting them duke it out before I come in for the kill. I know exactly how I want my husband to be represented, but we can't talk deals if they keep going back and forth. As they continue to argue, the flight attendant hands me a glass of water and I thank him.

Haines and McKinley continue to argue as I let them, taking my pills. Once done, I clap my hands repeatedly with a smile. The line becoming silent so I know I have their attention now.

"Fellas, fellas. We're talking about Darius Bridges, the star quarterback of the Chicago Bears. Not to mention him and his team has just won the city a championship four days ago. I think we can come to some sort of an agreement here. Now both Adidas and Nike are popular brands in America, and Darius sports both. Picture this, Darius in a commercial, running in Nike gear. The football held tight in his grip, his voice explaining why he uses the products during that time of day. Then the commercial cuts to him walking the Chicago streets with an Adidas sweatsuit, have him talk to paparazzi on what he's wearing. Why he chose to rock it to a club appearance and enters the dark space. Now, it's near the end of the commercial, the Nike Darius meets the Adidas Darius. It's a little tension, a tilt to the head and there it is. One half of the face and body is Darius with the Nike gear and the with the check and slogan Just Do It underneath. The other half of his face and body dressed in Adidas, with the logo and the slogan Impossible is Nothing. Close the commercial out with the Check over top of the three rising stripes, and there you have it. Darius would be the first to have both brands under his belt, and it'll raise up sales for both departments. Especially from the younger crowd. We're talking about two top brands colliding with one of the biggest stars in the NFL right now. Why pass this up?" I question in persuasion.

"Well, I didn't think of it that way." Haines says.

"Nether did it, but this could help both our brands sky rocket in sales. The too top sports wears in America." McKinley agrees.

"Yes it would, wouldn't it." I smile and tear off a piece of my croissant, spreading butter on the fluffy flakes.

"So do we have a deal? An $80 million dollar contract for two years, a sneaker line with Nike. Maybe a sweatsuit line with adidas?" I question, raising my brows.

"Yes." They say in unison. I grin widely, wanting to jump for joy but I have to compose myself. Professional De, professional. I think to myself.
