Deanda and I walk along the shore, looking out at the water in amazement. We got to California an hour ago and neither one of us could sleep. We didn't get a chance to have a honeymoon because of work on both ends. So we decided to come to Venice, California and watch the sunrise, soak up the sun for a week. Pre-season starts soon and I need a vacation before that. We both do.

"Who would of ever thought, you and I would be together." Deanda giggles, kicking the water beneath her feet.

"I know right. Your annoying ass hollering at everybody. Rolling of the eyes and snapping at people." I remind. She smacks her lips, pushing me away from her. I couldn't help but laugh and hug her from behind, kissing her cheek and temple.

"I'm not mean any more." She whines. I laugh lowly and waddle behind her as I hug her around her neck.

"I know, you changed so much." I proudly inform. Deanda turns around in my embrace, removing her hands from around my neck. We stop in our tracks as the water wash up to our ankles, our feet sinking in the sand. I stare at De as the lotus flower I picked up still sits behind her ear. The wind blowing her long strands.

"You're beautiful, you know that right?" Her cheeks flush with a smile and I smile back, caressing her face.

"Don't do that." She whines in laughter.

"I love you." I chuckle and gently wrap my hands around her neck, kissing her and pull back as the we stand and press our foreheads against one another's.

"I love you too." She responds. The sound of the waves and the cool breeze hitting our skin calms us both. This is definitely what we needed after a rough year. We've going through the ups and downs of stardom and fame. It wasn't easy, but we got through it and fought it together. This is what love is suppose to feel like between two people. It's undeniable, unbreakable and nothing can get in between it. It's us.
