brendon is one of those people that takes new friends and make them just like him. not in a bad way, but it's just that he's extremely contagious.

always happy, smiling and being funny, making inside jokes the first day they meet, positive things like that.

and once tyler and melanie met brendon at the football game, they instantly became friends. it took a little longer than melanie, but it still happened.

brendon was constantly keeping ashley updated, just like she had asked him to. knowing how brendon is, she set him up with tyler. not in a date or anything, just to make him more social. ashley thinks of him as a sort of son. the kind she thinks best about and plans things for to make him feel better.

when tyler went home that day, with the happiness on his face at the fact that josh's team won, and the fact that he made a new friend, he was actually happy.

so to congratulate himself, and honestly forgetting his anxieties for a few minutes, he ate something voluntarily, something he hasn't done in four months in counting.
