"why didn't you just go yourself, tyler?"

tyler gave her a look of guilt while he pulled on his sweater paws.

they were both standing outside of the entrance of the school, waiting to give their tickets to the person in the booth.

melanie realized that she was now holding up the line and tossed her tickets into the booth, not caring where it went and looking back to tyler.

he felt slightly uncomfortable in the windy area of the school in a skirt and leggings. he always loved wearing feminine clothes, but since it was store policy he was only allowed to wear men's clothing there. everywhere else he wore feminine ones.

"y-you can leave i-if you w-want to, m-melanie."

melanie rolled her eyes and tyler smiled a little. "tyler," she said, "if i wanted to leave i wouldn't have even come."

tyler started walking with melanie, taking her hand and going through the school to the football field's bleachers.

brendon instantly saw them when they walked through the doors. they stuck out like sore thumbs. if you didn't go to this school, it was obvious.

melanie was wearing a purple skirt with an orange sweater, and green boots that went up to her thighs.

then tyler was wearing his blue baggy jacket again with a pink frilly skirt with leggings underneath and cute little light blue converse that were as clean as brand new.

and earlier today ashley had told brendon about tyler, as a matter of fact, she talked about tyler ever since he started working at the gas station.

and brendon heard every word and just knew that he needed help. which is why he is so eager as he is to make him have friends.

also ashley and brendon just really ship josh and tyler now. mostly because whenever ashley talks about him you can just tell that josh is extremely infatuated with it. the conversation, the words that are said, everything.

"tyler! tyler!" brendon yelled across the bleachers, waving his hands around and annoying people standing and sitting next to him waiting for the game to begin.

tyler blushed furiously, but pointed to show melanie what was happening. she nodded and started walking over there with tyler.
