tyler was grounded, so he wasn't allowed outside the house besides school.

good thing he told his parents the school day ended when his shift did.

melanie literally stayed next to him the entire day, until one of the teacher told her to sit back into her assigned seat, they started a fight, and she went to the principals' office, leaving tyler completely alone until after school.

when he walked into the gas station, he heard a chair shuffle and he looked up to ashley.

she hugged him, but he didn't hug back because of the fact she was hugging painfully hard. it hurt the bruises on his back and the band-aids that covered his scratches were being pushed off.

ashley was starting to cry, but tyler just smiled at her concern and made her stop.

"hey, ashley!" they heard from the back.

tyler instantly felt tense and sick, and he almost fell over starting to run to the door.

"ash- tyler?"
