Chapter 05

Nicholson stares at the man sitting in front of him before his eyes roam around the room hearing the shrieks and shouts from his dear sisters who did not know the word, peace.

"Are you going to move or not?" Gage asks impatiently making the frown appear on Nicholson's forehead.

"I was not even playing with you" he replies staring at the board game he was being, dragged in.

"How hard is it for you to just lift your finger and flick the carom?" Gage asks with amusement.

"I still am not playing" he replies.

"Nick is such a bore," Gabby sighs as she pulls him out of his seat and once again pulls him towards where his sisters were.

"Look I got one more cheerleader," Gabby cheerfully states ignoring Gage's cry of protest.

"Shut it up Gage I am older than you" she snaps before asking Lily to play.

"Will you all just stop dragging me from one place to another?" he asks in irritation as he straightens his shirt.

"But Lily is feeling down" Gabby narrows her eyes to him making him sigh.

"It's okay Lily just play, you know all of us can never say no to you" he finally gives in as he stares at his sister who was sitting in front of the piano and was almost ready to play but something catches her eyes and her smile widens.

"Dam-Dam" she cries in happiness as she runs towards their elder brother who opens his arms with a wide grin.

"Hey baby girl, how are you?" he asks with laughter as he twirls her around in his arms.

"You are back" she whispers when he puts her down and he smiles before kissing her forehead lovingly as he passes her the chocolates he got just for her.

"Of course, I have missed hearing you play" he ruffles her hair before walking with her inside of the house.

"Damon, you are alive" Gage fakes shock gasping and covering his mouth with his hands making everyone roll their eyes at him.

"Shut up Gage and come here" he chuckles as he hugs his brother before one by one his sisters hug him.

"How could you just escape your own wedding, do you know how scandalous that is for our family and hopefully because of that I do not have to worry about any affects it may have on my marriage" Gabby scolds as she hits on his arm.

"You are going to die all alone with loads of cats, Gabby just relax" Gage teases his sister before they start to scream at each other and run around the house like little kids throwing things at each other.

"Something's never change" Damon's sister, Katie states as she stands next to her older brother.

"Hey little kitty Kat, how you doing?" he asks as he pulls his sister under his arms as he walks inside of the house to join the others.

"I am fine. Mom has been trying to reach you though"

"I met her a few days ago" he replies as they sit next to each other and watch Lily preparing to start a song.

"That's good" Katie smiles as everyone's focuses back on Lily.

"So, where is Diana?" Nicholson asks as he stands next to Damon.

Damon turns to look where all of the other siblings were before he faces Nicholson.

"In Pop's house"
