Chapter 31

Checking on the time, Damon sighs once again he taps his fingers on the armrest impatiently. To kill the time he opens the file he brought along with but even doing so he cannot help but look at the staircase time and again waiting for the person to just walk down already.

"What is taking him so long?" Damon groans in irritation as he stares at Throne who was standing behind him.

"The right question would be why we are even here" he retorts making Damon to turn in his seat to face his friend.

"I don't know Throne may be they want to see us drunk and dance," Damon snaps angrily.

"Or may be they found out you play for the other team"

"Ha-ha old joke buddy come with something new"

"Well..."

"What the fuck is wrong with you two this morning?" Tyson's voice stops both of them from trying to throw some more insults to each other.

"I just don't like his face" Throne grumbles.

"Well same here buddy; I fucking want to re-paint that face of yours as well" Damon speaks as he gets up from his seat to attack Throne and Tyson steps in between them.

"You are acting like a fucking five years, cut the crap," Tyson warns them before Throne goes to storm out of the house but Nicholson's presence stops him from doing anything.

"What is the meaning of the early call?" Damon grumbles at his brother who raises a brow looking from Damon to Throne.

"Well, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed?" he asks before taking a seat.

"What happened that my presence was mist important?" Throne asks.

"Well by now you two must have known that Diana has disappeared" Nicholson starts and when both of them nod their head he continues.

"Well you both also know why her appearance and disappearance will do to you two especially you Throne"

"What's the point?"

"Did anyone of you tried to look into why all of a sudden she was in the town and why all of a sudden she is not?"

"No"

"Very well, here" Nicholson sighs as he holds the file Tyson passes onto him and throws him in front of his brother.

"I have meeting, see you guys later" Nicholson speaks as he puts on the jacket and walks out of the house along with Tyson leaving Damon and Throne to deal with the file he just gave.

"Oh this is pretty" Katie gushes as she touches the fabric of the dress.

"Hey let's do something different" Gabby suggests as she walks closer to Katie.

"It's a no, Gabby" Katie laughs knowing her ideas will get them in trouble.

"Oh come on you did not even hear it" Gabby pleads.

"Okay what is it?"

"Let's not do the old same bridesmaids dress thing how about we all do shirt and pants while the best men will wear dresses"

"No"

"Oh come on don't you want to see your brothers in a dress because I want to"

"No Gabby, god where do you even come up with the idea"

"Please Katie"

"Okay how about we do that in your wedding?" she suggests.

"Your sense of humor sucks real time" Gabby shakes her head sighing in defeat as she walks away to check on her dress.
