Ricardo Russo was not the man Tulip painted in her head when Damon informed him he was best friend to Gabby. If she had seen the man out of the house then she would have never believed that a man as dangerous as him could be friends to a girl like Gabby.

As they, both were quiet opposite.

While Gaby's eyes were cheerful and a mischief glint on it, Ricardo's eyes were calculating and menacing and it was weird to find Gabby hanging on to the man's shoulder as she had flung herself on him as soon as he entered the room.

"Did you bring me food?" she had asked the man who had just passed her a bag and she holds his hand instead dragging him inside of the room.

Tulip slowly step back towards Damon who was too happy to hold her as she watches the man looking around the room as if searching for any danger before he finally sits besides Gabby who starts to talk non stop with him while he hums when she looks his way before continuing to talk.

"Russo" Nicholson nods at the man first before the man nods back without a word.

"Rare, tell them you will handle your brother before they all kill him" Gabby commands as she turns to face the man and ends up sitting on one of his thighs while she holds on his arms.

Damon chuckles from behind her seeing the man narrow his eyes at Gabby who keeps staring at him.

"She is really a pain in the ass" Damon whispers in her ear making her swat at his arms for calling his sister that.

"Why?" he finally speaks and Tulip gasps at the deep baritone voice of his, making Damon growl in her ear in warning.

"Sorry" she whispers sheepishly but Damon was not a happy camper.

"You will be later" he promises making her sigh.

"What do you mean by why? Your brother as I have always told is crazy unlike me he is harmful and he wants Tutu dead so obvious I have to protect my family"

"Tutu" he asks before his eyes lands on her and she holds tight on the arm Damon had around her.

"My fiancée" Damon clarifies as Ricardo keeps staring at her.

"Did she do something for him to want her dead?" he asks still staring at her and suddenly she feels uneasy as his eyes looks specifically on her scars.

"Well she witnessed a murder but that is not the point you need to talk with your brother" Gabby sighs as she holds Ricardo's face in her hands and makes him look her way.

"I cannot just do anything if I do not know the full story from both sides, precious. I will talk to Rick on the matter until then why don't you tell me what exactly am I here for?" he asks as he passes the pizza's piece to her.

"Ugh fine, you should have been lawyer instead of Damon. Both sides of the story my ass," Gabby grumbles.

"Are Gabby and Ricardo in a relation?" Tulip asks curiously, as she pulls her hair band.

"No. They are just friends. Well it is somewhat weird for someone who has not seen them behave that way...

They have known each other since their school days and have been inseparable ever since, it's has taken us few years to get used to the way they are with each other and trust me...

Nicholson and I have cornered Ricardo one too many times asking him to make an honest woman out of our sister and much to our amusement he had just shrugged it off...
