Tif's POV
We had physical training the next day. Finally. I loved basketball so much. Though I was never selected for the team, I was always enthusiastic when it came to basketball.
And today it would be more fun because it had been a week since 'The Great Wall' i. e. The wall that separated Marts and Xaviers was destroyed and had to be constructed again to build a stronger one. You could see Xaverians from our schools and the Xaverians could see the Martians from their school. The barrier in between had been chopped off.
"Tifany, have you heard the news about the new rule of Xaviers?" Reeta, a girl from our school asked.
"No I haven't." I replied.
"Ok tell me what is the punishment that we get for speaking in Nepali, our native language in our school?" She asked.(with scarsm)
"Since our school wants us to improve our English we have a rule. If we are caught speaking in Nepali, we are fined Rs. 100. If we are caught speaking in Nepali the second time, we will have to tie two meters long red ribbon on our hair, one on each side. If we are caught speaking in Nepali the third time, the number of ribbons will be increased and so on. And for every time we are caught, we should write 'I will always speak in English' five hundred times. And here we are in St. Marts, the school in the whole world, where we are fined for speaking in their own native language." I said.
"Do you know what the Xaviers have as punishment if they are caught speaking in Nepali?" Reeta asked.
I shook my head. She said, "If they are caught speaking in Nepali, they will have to stand in the destroyed wall of Marts and Xaviers for a whole day. I mean is the Principal mad or something? They get to skip classes for one whole day and during all their punishment, they can watch girls on the other side. Who on earth calls that punishment, it's like a reward."
I was bewildered. Wtf. If I was a boy of Xaviers then I would get caught daily just to watch girls and to skip classes. Their punishments are so fun. I hate this school. "Does that mean there will be some Xaveries standing or sitting on the broken wall skipping classes and watching sexy and super hot girls like us right now?" I asked.
"Well. Maybe. See it for yourself." Reeta said.
I went to Ail and told her everything that I had heard. She was surprised and said "So lucky"
So we went to the P.T. class to see if all of it was really true. And as we passed through the gates and entered the junior side and stepped into the basketball court, we saw none others than Andy, Kun, Mil and Ak standing beside the destroyed wall and enjoying the scene ahead of them with lots of gossiping. No teachers with them. I wonder if they would really enter the other side in our compound if the teachers were not present at our side.
After we went there, they waved at us when the teacher was not looking. Ail and I decided to ignore them to be in the safer side. We didn't want to get into trouble with the Principal.
We played basketball for a whole until we saw the boys looking at us and laughing as if we had 'Laugh at us.' printed on our forehead.
"What are they laughing at?" Ail asked me.
"I have no idea." I replied.
"Its just so humiliating and irritating." Ail said.
"Yeah. If I could just go to them for a while then I would beat the hell out of them." I said.
"Well you can if you pull on some tricks." Ail said with a mischievous grin.
"But how?" I asked.
"Just a few minutes ago, I saw Hans threatening Mia and Nara to make them stand by the wall, face to face with the boys if they wouldn't stop fighting. Of course they would be more than happy to get the punishment but they were far too afraid to speak it out. So if we act like fighting then the plan may work out." Ail said with a grin.
"You're the best." I said giving Ail a hug.
Ail gave me a 'I know that' look and we worked at our plan. The fight went quite well, I must say. And Hans have us the punishment, yeah we got victory!
We stood there quietly with our punishment, me standing in front of Andy and Ail standing in front of Kun with smirk plastered on our face. We heard girls mutter " So lucky." They were probably jealous. Afterall we were standing facing the most popular boys in our school.
Until the teacher was there me and Ail stood quietly like good girls and as soon as the teacher left the court, I signalled Ail and we both grinned. The boys looked terrified but now there was no going back.
Within minutes I had made Andy and Mil my horse whereas Ak and Kun had become Ail's horse. They were kneeling on the floor with us sitting on top of them. Guys from Xaviers were cheering up for them. It was just so fun.
"You guys eat so much. How on earth are we supposed to carry you?"Ak asked.
"You eat too much." Kun said.
"Have some mercy. We will die like this." Mil commented.
"My back hurts."Andy added.
"That's none of our buisness." Ail said.
"Absolutely correct." I added.
"What's going on?" We heard a voice speak. We all turned to see where the voice came from.
It came from a man who looked like he was in his early fiftees. He looked like an important person because the boys looked terrified. We stood up and the boys kept their heads down. I looked at him properly. He had a dark complexion with his hair died brown. He was cleanly shaven with black suit and white shirt. There were many badges in his suit along which one was labelled as "The Principal".
