Tif's POV
The Principal didn't give us any punishment. At least my ruined life had some use.
It was Friday, but not a time to chill cause the exams were only a weak away.
Time table;
Monday: Morning HPE (combination of health Population and Environmental studies)
Afternoon: Computer Science
Tuesday: Morning Social Studies (combination of sociology, geography and history)
Afternoon: Compulsory maths
Wednesday: Morning Science (combination of chemistry, biology, physics, astrology and geology)
Afternoon: Moral Science
Thursday: Morning Nepali (Our National Language)
Afternoon Opt. Maths
Friday: Morning English (literature and grammar)
Afternoon: Profession, Buisness and Technology Education
We were only in grade nine and we had to study so much. Our life is pure hell.
Ail is coming over today cause she has to study along with me. I can do my exams very well even with what I have studied but Ail needs to study at least to get passed or she will be held back a year.
Finally she came.
"Lets start." She said.
"How about we start with Physics? Okay let's start from Motion. You said you studied that. Tell me Newton's third law of motion." I asked.
"Um. I don't know. I forgot." She said.
I explained, "Remember a few weeks ago you had posted a picture on Facebook with the caption 'What goes around, comes around'. In the same way, Newton's third law of motion is
"To every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction."
It means, in Science, if we do something, we get it back, but in an opposite manner. For example in life. If we do good, we get bad. The action we did was good but the reaction we get is completely opposite. Okay tell me Newton's third law of motion. "
She said, "It is 'To every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction.'
Wow. I understood easily. Thanks to your example."
Then we studied heat and measurement.
After that we took a little break and we started learning literature.
We studied "The merchant of Venice" by William Shakespeare.
Finally Ail asked me, "Why does everything happen so correct in stories. Any Prince could have chosen the lead casket but Bassanio chose it and Portia loved him. Even in the end Antonio's life is saved. What would have happened if something went wrong? Everything went so properly in these things. As planned. Why?"
I said, "Because it is a movie and not real life. Because the writer controls their fate. The writer planned everything and wrote it. Their life is predicted and it is confined in a piece of paper. It can be erased and changed accordingly. And all their lives depend upon the writer. It's so easy in books.
And about real life, it can't be controlled. It goes on and on. It's not only confined to one person or the other. It's just so unpredictable. No matter what happens, you still have to live on in your life. Life is not a book. Life is much more complicated than a movie or a book. So don't compare your life with a book. It's much more precious than the books that are bought and sold. So live on."
She smiled. The days went so fast. I was trying to explain Ail everything int bits and pieces. She understood few things but she didn't understand so many.
First day. HPE. Even few minutes before the exam, we were trying to get things into our head.
Ail's POV
We got our answer sheets and question paper. 10 questions of each one mark and 18 questions of five marks each. Shit. 5 marks questions meant one page answer for each questions. I had to hurry.
No 1. What is solid waste management. Explain in detail with examples of management.
I had learned it. It was burning, recyclying and other stuffs. I wrote the answer.
Next question. Explain in at least twenty sentence about the relation netween health and environment according to the researcher Mascher.
I had read this. It was on page 85 from fifth line onwards with a picture of sick man on the left. But what was the contents. It was written in black writing where I had highlighted the most important parts. BUT WHAT WAS THE FREAKING CONTENTS? Why does it happen with me only? I remember everything exept what is necessary.
At last I gave up. I would pass in HPE.
Now my enemy QBASIC would be coming. I ate lunch quickly and started studying.

"Finally." I said as I came ot of the examination hall. The exams were finally over. Finally as I started doing a funny dance.
Tif just laughed.
We met Kun, Andy, Mil and Ak at Red Roses. They had also finished their exams and we were going to the movie hall and then to Tif's house after that.
"The exam is over. I can take a bredth." I said.
"Look who is speaking. As if you ever study during exams." Andy said.
"Please Mr. Andy Frans. I studied hard this time." I said.
Andy gave me a liar look. Then Mil, who seemed to have believed me said, "Wow. Tif has changed you into a nerd like her. Nerdy girls."
"We are not nerds." I and Tif said at the same time.
"Ok. You are not nerds. You just have books around you for 24 hours." Ak said with a grin.
Tif gave him 'do you want to get hit?' Look and he was sober at once.
"But the girls are right." Kun said.
We all stared at him.
"Yeah. If we study, we will get a job and be rich and we will get to know more girls and maybe I can find my Princess.
But the only thing is we have to study and that is boring. So even if the girls are correct, we can't study." Kun said with a smirk.
"Ouch. That hurt." Kun said as Tif hit him hard on his head.
"I hit so that it hurts." Tif said and we all grinned.
