21. Sandwich

Kun's POV
So we went to our part of the kitchen.

"Do you know how to cook?" Ail asked me.

"Yeah. I love cooking." I replied.

"Yeah. We have a benifit. Both of us can cook." Ail said giving me a high five.

"Which rolls should we make?" Ail asked.

"Let's make potato rolls. They are my favoraite." I said.

"Okay but teach me how. I don't know how to make it." Ail said.

"I will wash and boil some potatoes. Till then you just sit there and cut some chilly and coriander." I said.

"Yes sir." She said and she started cutting the chilly.

As she was cutting the chilly, she sang "What do I do."

I just smiled. Her voice was really good.

"What to do next?" She asked.

"Wait until the potato boils." I said.

"Yes sir." She said in her cute voice.

"I am feeling lazy." I said. "Let's do something."

"And what might that be?" Tif asked

"How about you massage my hair?" I suggested.

"I am not your servant Mr. Kunsang Tamang." She said.

"It is called one friend helping the other." I said.

"No"

"Please?"

"No."

"Just once."

"No."

"It will be a great favour."

"No."

"I will buy a dairy milk bubly for you"

"Really?" She asked.

"Yes my lady." I said.

"The big one." She said.

"Sure." I replied

As I sat down, an alarm rang.

" The potatoes are cooked. I am soory but Kun we have to cook now." Ail said.

"But why now? The alarm always rings at the wrong moment." I said angrily.

As I was angry, I took out a potato only to realize that it was too hot.

"Arggggg." I screamed.

Ail hurriedly came over and blew over my hands. Her warm bredth flew towards my hands.

"Are you all right?" She asked me. Yeah, she was concerned for me and I was happy about that.

"Stop smiling and blushing like an idiot Mr. Kunsang." Damn. Her voice made me realized that I was blushing. Yeah blushing in front of her.

"You aren't working today. Tell me what to do. I will do." Ail said.

"Thank you. I can rest now." I said.

She peeled the potatoes.

"What to do now?" She asked.

"Cut potatoes first. I don't want to see any blood." I said. It was more like I didn't want to see her hurt.

"Now?" She asked.

"Leave them for a while. Now put some gram flour in a boul and add some water. Mix it properly. The flour must be watery." I said.

"Done." She said and I tested the flour. It was fine.

"Okay now add some salt, ginger, chilly, onion, turmeric, cumin seeds and coriander leaves in it and mix well." I instructed.

She did as told.

"Now heat some oil in a deep frying pan. After the oil heats up, take a spoon of mixture and keep it in the pan. Flip it once or twice. After it turns brown and crunchy, take it out." I told.

She did as instructed. Finally we finished it.

"How is it?" I asked.

"Its tasty. I made it very well." She said.

"I instructed it very well. That's why." I said.

"If I had not cooked it well, it would have been a mess." She said.

"If I had not instructed it well, it would still have been a mess." I said.

"Fine. We both did it. Together." She said.

"Now, let's take it outside. It will be the best." I said.

"Wow. Pizza is just amazing." I said.

"You both did a great job." Ail commented.

"It's like a pizza of pizza hut. I could eat more." Tif said.

"Ijustloveit." Andy said with still pizza in his mouth and cheese all over his chin.

"Geez. That's dirty." Tif said.

"I don't care." Andy replied.

"So the winners of the competition are Mil and Ak." Tif announced.

Mil and Ak clapped for themselves.

"The sauce is finished. I will get some." Tif told and went to get some.

"I will get it" Mil offered which was unusual of him but it was late. Tif had already gone to get it.

Ak turned that side and murmurmed "F*ck".

Something was fishy.

It didn't take long to figure out. Soon Tif came out with pizza boxes of pizza hut.

"May I ask what these are?" Tif said.

Mil and Ak both were silent. It looked like a teacher was trying to get an answer from her students who had done mischief.

"You ordered them, didn't you?" Tif asked sternly.

"Listen to us." Mil tried to say but was cut off by Tif.

"Did you order it? Yes or no. I know it is a yes but still I am asking so please be polite enough to answer." Tif said in a very calm and composed voice and it meant DEATH.

"Yes we ordered it. We tried but in vain. I know we couldn't have cheated but we were tired." Ak justified.

Tif came slowly forward and said "You both were extremely smart. Even I didn't have that in mind." And she smiled.

Mil and Ak heaved a sign of relief while we laughed.

The dinner went quite well. And the pizza was really delicious.

Afterwards, I had something up. I wanted to take Ail to the park. It was evening and taking a walk to the park would be good.

So I went to her. I was getting nervous. But why? I wasn't goona propose to her or anything and yet I was just so afraid. It was very unusual for a playboy like me. I took a deep bredth. All I had to do was go to her and ask her to go on a walk with me. I can do it.

I just thought all this as I finally aproached to her.

Often this happens to all of us. Things l9ok so easy but it is so hard to do especially with a specific person. All we need is courage but we loose it in front of the person. Loose our courage to the person. And it drifts away, slowly.
