18.At the Cinema

Tif's POV
At Red Roses we all had coke and left. Then we decided which movie to watch.

"Let's watch an action movie." Mil said.

"No. It's no fun." Ak said.

"How about melodrama?" Ail asked.

"Thats too boring." Andy said and I nodded.

"How about animation movie?" Kun asked.

"No. That's not good either."; I said.

"Then what are we gonna watch? A fairytale?" Andy said with scarsm.

"Let's watch a horror movie." I said but there was again objection.

And then we discussed which movie to watch. We were fighting. Then came a story on how I gad been a gangster.

"Once I and Tif went to watch a movie." Andy said.

"Shut up." I said knowing what was about to come next.

"Then Tif bought a large amount of food. During the interval, Tif went to the washroom. Then I ate just a few pieces of her French Fries and when she came back she exploded like a bomb. She said, "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY FOOD? DIDN'T YOU HAVE YOUR OWN. THOSE WERE THE LAST FRENCH FRIES. I HAD SAVED THEM AND NOW YOU EAT THEM ALL? DON'T YOU HAVE ANY SHAME?" And she hit me on the head. All the people were watching. The movie was even paused to watch us. It was too embarassing and the worse part, we were kicked out from the hall.

And that wasn't the end of it. After that Tif didn't talk to me for a whole week. She ignored my texts, she ignored my messages and she only agread to talk with me on one condition. I had to buy a huge dinner for her. She eats like a pig and she had not eaten for one day just so that she could eat like an elephant. She orderd a burger, pizza in large size, a sizzler, fried rice, coke, spring roles and pasta. The most surprising part was that she ate all that in one sitting. Even the waiter was surprised."

"If you are trying to make me embarrasesed than you fail." I said truthfully. Cause it was just so obvious.

"Now let's decide on the movie." Ail said and again we focused on the movie.

We couldn't come to any decision. So we had paper, scissor rock to decide what movie to watch. And a big miracle happened. I WON.

"Yeah. Now let's watch 'Haunted'"; I said.

"Why do you have to choose a horror movie out of all?" Andy asked.

"Why? Are you afraid?" Mil questioned with a grin.

"No. I am not." Andy said.

"Big fat liar." I said and laughed.

We bought the tickets and we entered the hall. We bought food too and in loads and my loads mean a lot.

We bought six packets of chips, whole lot of pop corn, six bottles juice, a whole lot of fries, six large sized oroeos, pringles, six burgers, lots of nacho and other stuff. It was difficult to carry.

And finding a seat was even difficult. Finally we found six seats not side by side but two in each row, the other two just behind the first two. So Ail and Kun sat on the last seat, Mil and Ak sat in middle seat which meant I and Andy had to sit on the front seat.

We sat down. The movie started. It wasn't scary but Andy looked really scared. In minutes sweat was dripping from his face, his cheeks turned red and he had goose bumps all over.

Andy's POV
I was hell lot of scared. Ghosts and height were my only fears. I couldn't stand it. I tried to look away from the screen but the dark ghost was coming into my head. I felt hot and scared.

"Are you all right?" Tif asked me.

"I am fine." I lied.

"Ouch." I whispered as Tif hit me on the head. "Don't repeat history." I said.

"Then stop your big fat mouth from telling lies." She said.

"Ok. Fine. I AM SCARED. Happy now?" I said.

"That's a good boy." She said.

I blushed.

Was I crazy? Insane?

"I'm not." I defended.

"Look who is saying that!" She said.

"Of course it is Andy the great." I said.

"Andy the great pig." She giggled.

I smiled. That happy face of her made me blush yet again. I was so glad it was dark and Tif couldn't see me.

I watched her talking, longingly. If I could, I would stay here watching her FOREVER.

Kun's POV
I and Ail sat at the back seat. The movie started. Of course I wasn't that afraid but the sudden appereance of ghost left me a bit uncomfortable sometimes. I watched Ail to see how she was doing. And she looked really really scared.

Her hands were shaking. So I couldn't help but hold those hands of her. She looked startled at first but later she became comfortable.

"Don't you find this boring?" I asked trying to divert Ail's mind.

"I find it rather scary." Ail said with a nervous smile.

"Really. They are just on the screen. You are perfectly safe with me." I said.

"How can I be so sure?" Ail asked.

"Are you doubting me?" I asked.

"Maybe." She said with a mischevious grin.

"It hurts." I said. Putting on fake tears.

"Dramatic fool." She said.

"No really. I will really protect you. I PROMISE." I said.

"Ok then. You are my knight in shining armour from today. Pinky promise." She said taking out her little finger.

"I PROMISE." I said doing the same.
And I meant it.

"Look there." Ail said showing Tif and Andy. They were giggling.

"Looks like your plan is working." I said.

She looked a bit sad. "Alright?" I asked.

"They love each other they should have each other. I don't want them to loose each other when they are just starting to fall each other.

I don't want Andy to loose Tif. It hurts but I am learning to let go too." She said.

"And what about you?" I questioned.

"Me? Don't worry about me. As long as both of them are together, I don't matter." She said.

I gave her a big hug from my seat. She hugged me back. Then I whispered in her ears "I will protect you. You are safe with me. Your happiness matters."
