...
After Greyson hung up the phone, he got in the bed again. He pulled the cover down Melissa's body and shakily brought his hand to her clothed belly. Greyson let his hand on Melissa's flat tummy for 10 seconds but he felt nothing."Is there really a baby inside? Why can't I feel anything?" He mumbled.
Melissa stirred a bit but scooted closer to the warmth of Greyson's hand. She held it to her chest thinking it was a pillow. Greyson's eyes widened when his hand made contact with her breasts.
"Uh, Mel...Melissa. Wake up." Melissa didn't move, instead her grip on Greyson's hand tightened. Greyson could feel his member hardened.
"Ah, please...not now."
Greyson used his other hand to pat Melissa's arm lightly. "Hey, wake up." His deep voice echoed in her ears. She slowly opened her eyes, adjusting to the lights and was greeted by Greyson's face.
"Huh? What are you doing in here? What did you do to me? Get out!" She backed away from Greyson who raised his eyebrows.
"Seriously?" Crossing his arms, Greyson said, "Look around." Melissa did so. "What are you doing in here?"
Melissa felt stupid now that she was busted. She did recall she sneaked into the room because she couldn't sleep in her room and that she kept thinking about Greyson's back.
"I-I...Sorry." She said getting up from the bed.
"Wait." Greyson stopped her. "There's something I wanna ask and I hope you're being honest with me." Greyson breathed in and then breathed out a question. "Are you...pregnant?"
"What?" Melissa turned to meet with Greyson's gaze. "Why all of a sudden?"
"Because all of a sudden you're acting weird with your mood swings and all which really made me confused. I'm just curious so I called mom and she said that it's normal for a pregnant woman to experience all those things." He explained.
"So, is it true? That you're..." Greyson didn't finish his sentence but instead he moved his gaze to Melissa's tummy.
"No? I'm not pregnant?" Melissa muttered unsure. "It couldn't be." She shook her head.
"It can be. It's possible." Greyson confidently said. "Let's go see the doctor, yeah?"
"No. I don't want. I'm not pregnant. I'm still young! This is all your fault!" She pointed her finger to Greyson. "If you didn't force me that night this would not happen." Melissa started to raise her voice. Tears were forming in her eyes.
"Hey, calm down. We can talk about this nicely but now we have to make sure whether you're really pregnant or not." Greyson softly said. He approached Melissa who started sobbing. That became her habit every time they had a little fight, more to her being so emotional over little things.
"Shhh. Don't cry." He rubbed her back in a soothing circle. Melissa buried her face on Greyson's chest which she was surprised she did.
"It's okay. I have to go to work."
"Don't go." She still didn't move.
"But-"
Melissa sobbed louder and Greyson could feel his bare chest was getting wet from the tears. He sighed. "Okay, okay. I will call my dad to inform him."
Melissa peeked from her hidden place, "I want pancakes."
Greyson smiled. "I can't make any if you keep holding me like this." Melissa slowly let go and wiped her tears away. This time Greyson was sure his mother was right.
