Madeline's POV

The Civil War Movie Premiere was today and dad and I had to head out early in the morning so we could be there for hair and makeup and whatever else he said. Let me tell you, at 5 in the morning your bed is never more comfortable. Dad practically pulled me out of bed and into the bathroom to shower. We ended up leaving a hour after he wanted to. but we showed up with lots of time to spare.

When we arrived I found Liz and started to talk with her until we had to get are dresses on. I got my hair down in a crown braid and simple makeup. My dress was short, one shoulder, a jade color, with flowers on the shoulder. When I was finished I found dad. He was wearing a black suit with a tie that matched the color of my dress.

"Hey, pretty girl," he said when I hugged him.

"Hi," I smiled.

As the night began dad was very pre-occupied with reporters and such and I tried to say on the side and pose for the few pictures that were being taken of me.

"Madeline! Over here," dad said motioning over to talk with one of the reporters with him. I walked over and her gave me a side hug.

"So Madeline, how is Chris as a dad," the reporter lady asked.

"He's perfect. I could ask for someone better," I said honestly.

Dad leaned down and kiss my head and rubbed my shoulder. The reporter cooed and our little father-daughter moment. She ask us a few more questions until another reporter came to talk with me and my dad.

The movie began and I sat with Indio, Robert's son, and Keen, Mark's son.

"What do you think of the movie," Keen asked.

"It just stared," I said back.

"Oh, right," he said shyly.

After the movie ended the crowd roses to there feet and I moved to sit with my dad for the end credit scenes.

"Whatcha doing, Hun," he asked when I sat on his lap.

"Keen keeps trying to talk to me," I whispered.

"Ruffalo's son?" he asked.

I nodded and then turned to the scene to watch, knowing this conversation wasn't over. Even though Chris has only been my dad for 4 months, he is very protective. When we got back to the house I ran to my room to change and dad got on the phone with someone.

I laid in my bed on my laptop waiting for dad to come in and say goodnight. I looked at the clock on my laptop and read 11:25, dad always came to say goodnight at 10:30 no matter what. I waited up for another 15 minutes before I gave up and snugged into my bed.

"Sorry I'm late," I heard someone say but my eyes were already to heavy to open. She felt a liht kiss on her hair line and she smiled.
