Chris's POV

I didn't sleep must that night. I was so worried about my daughter. She slept so close to me and I held her tight. It was about 4 in the morning when she started to shake in my arms. I woke her up instantly and she clutched on tighter to me as her tears hit my shoulder.

"You want some 4 a.m. ice cream and movie, Maddie?" I asked.

She nodded her head and kept her close to me and carried her down the stair. When I reached the kitchen I put her on the floor and she stood close to me as I got the ice cream together and then we walked to the living room.

"You love me right," she asked.

"Maddie, of course I love you. Who made you think I didn't," I asked kissing her hair.

She pointed to her head and sighed. A few tears fell from her eyes.

"I will always love you Madeline. No matter what ok," I said looking her in the eyes.

"I love you too," she said and kissed my cheek.

I turned on Inside Out and we sat there until she fell back to sleep a hour later. I called her new school and told then I was keep her home today and then called Scarlet, Liz, Mark, and Robert to see if they would come over and help me cheer her up. Of course they agreed and came over right away, Scarlet even brought over her little daughter Rose. Liz made a cake and Scarlet started to make what she called a 'star quality' lunch while me and the guys decorated the dining room like it was a royal dining room and got dressed up in fancy outfits. The girls cleaned up the kitchen after they were finished then when to change and wake up Maddie.

The second Maddie caught on to what was going on she was super excited.

"Princess Madeline your meal awaits," Robert says. She took his hand and Mark and I pulled out her seat.

"I feel very under dressed," she said when she sat down.

"You look beautiful in anything," I said and kissed her cheek.

"Shall we dine," Mark said when Scarlet came back with Rose.

"We shall," Madeline said with a small chuckle, "Thank you all, so much."

"Of course sweetie," Scarlet said.

We all started to eat and thanked Scarlet for cooking. We all talked and laughed the rest of the afternoon until everyone had to say there good-byes.
