The note was from Jason. I went to all my classes, math, language arts, science, socials, history, then finally, lunch. I went to the field with my lunch in one hand, and my bag in the other. I waited for a short while at the bleachers and finally, Jason showed up.
"Hi Jason. Did you want to talk to me about something?" I said, taking my sandwich and taking a bite out of it.
"Actually yes, and no." he sat down beside me. "I was wondering... would you like to be my friend? and if you could help me with the history assignment. I also just wanted to eat with you." He took his lunch out of his back pack and picked out an apple and started eating it.
"Well... sure I'll be your friend., you were the first person who talked to me here." I said quietly. "I'd love to help with your history assignment, if you help with mine."
Jason nodded and swallowed. "sure I'll help you, come over to my house after school?"
"Sure." I put the container back into my lunch bag. "Meet me in the courtyard okay? Then we can go to your house." I got up and put my bag on my shoulder.
"Okay, by the fountain. I'll be there." He got up and walked to the school. "See ya after then."
Smiling I said, "Of course." I went to my locker and put my things away and got ready to go to CE, which stands for Christian Education. I watched as Jason hurried pass, but before he was gone he flashed a smile at me and then he was gone. I closed my locker and rushed up the stairs to room 204. I got in class and sat down, ready for the rest of my day.
