-------After School--------
I walked home and was about to knock the door when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I slowly turned around and there was my dad. "Hi..." He looked at me then I turned around. I pushed the door open and ran in. I rushed up the stairs into my room. I locked my door and set all my things down.
I had just finished putting everything away and changing my clothes when I heard a knock at the door. "Who is it?" I heard a sigh. "Mack, it's me, Justin." I sighed with relief, opening the door I said, "Hi, what do you need?" He walked in. "Why were you rushing up the stairs?" I looked at him. "Dad." He nodded. "I see, well there is someone here to see you downstairs. "Oh?" He nodded. "Come on."
I headed downstairs and looked around. I saw Zac in the living room and Mr. Johnson. "Hi guys" As usual, I was the only girl around. "How are you guys?" They looked at me. "I'm good." They said together. I smiled and so did they. "What are you guys here for?" Mr. Johnson took one look at Zac and Justin, long enough for me to know this wasn't good. "Guys....." They all looked at me. "Tell me now." I sat down and they stared at me. They stayed silent. I couldn't watch, so I left.
--------- Later that evening -----------
I was doing my homework when I got a call from an unknown number. "Huh?" I picked up the phone and answered. "Hello? Mackenzie Lawerence speaking." There was no sound for awhile. "Hi, it's me. Mr. Johnson." I quickly sat down. "Yes? Is there something you need?" I could hear a buzzing at the other end of the line. "I was wondering if you were okay, and do you need help with anything?" I knew what he was asking. "Mr. Johnson, I'm perfectly fine." I heard the happiness in his voice. "Good. I'll leave you to it then. Bye." I smiled. "Bye" I hung up and I set my phone down. I started doing my homework, but I heard a knock at my door.
