Rydel's POV
"Ok lastly, I actually have a double duo for you to over there." Joslyn Davis giggles at our reunion interview for R5 all access on clever tv.
"Oh really?" Rocky smirks, eying Ellington and I. Ross and Riker also give us crazy smirks.
"Ya, I don't know if you know, but you guys have a lot of shippers," Joslyn says with a giddy smile.
"I've seen the shippers," Ellington states, remaining partially serious.
"You guys are on a boat together," Rocky laughs sarcastically.
"Are you guys like-like pirates?" Riker stutters, pretending to be astonished.
"Ya, I'm the captain," Ell smirks.
"She is the first mate," Riker giggles, referring to me.
"Well, we have some special moments from you guys, so let's take a look," Joslyn smiles. I can't help but watch the boys with amusement as the giggle about our ridiculous pretend relationship that the fans made up. We all watch the clips, smirking and laughing because El and I act so much like a couple sometimes, with our nonstop teasing, but that is just how our friendship works. He is a brother to me, nothing else.
"Ok, so the first time I ever talked to you guys about the show, I was like 'I feel like there's something here, going on.' Whats the update?" Joslyn laughs with excitement.
"I'm curious," Rocky states sarcastically.
"Um," Ell starts. "I mean it's pretty much the same as last time we talked."
"Yup," I giggle.
"I mean, they have known each other for like five years," Ross deadpans.
"Right, actually I, wait what? I" El stutters before bursting into a fit of laughter. Rocky falls out of his chair and we all giggle for so long that they had to cut the tape. Once we're done with our laughing fit, the crew gets the camera rolling again.
"Of course we're just joking around," Joslyn sighs. "But the fans want to know, you guys, I get tweets from the same girl almost every day, begging me to tell her is this real? Is this the real relationship, and I'm like, you know what? Let me find out for you, so what do you tell these fans?"
"People think it's a relationship? Like we're in a relationship?" Ell questions.
"They're bandmates, they can't date," Ross states like it's obvious. It's not like we would date anyways, even if we could.
"They're in a band together, we won't allow it," Rocky announces. It's true, we've talked about it at the beginning of R5, we are not going to be a couple.
"That would be, capital w, weird," Ell agrees, "That's what that would be."
"And in parenthesis, bold, underline, italics," Ross laughs.
"And in the 36 font," Ell smirks. "Actually just like 12 font, like you're supposed to do in school."
We wrap up the crazy interview and I'm not going to stop laughing about this for a while. For the rest of the day, Ell and I tease each other about anything and everything as usual, just like we normally do. Like brother and sister.
