Rydel's POV

"Nothing..." Ellington says slowly.

"Of course you were doing something!  You were making out!" Ryland exclaims.

"No no no, we were just kissing a little bit," Ellington assures him.  Ryland gives us a confused look, when suddenly, Ellington picks me up bridal style and makes a mad dash for the car.  He places me in the passenger seat and slams the door.  While Ellington gets in the car, I buckle my seatbelt and watch as Ryland runs back into the house.  Ellington struggles to get his seatbelt on and close the door.  As soon as he does, he steps on the gas and we go speeding into the night.  We both let out a sigh of relief, knowing that we made it and we're never going back.

"Well, that was a little harder than it needed to be," Ellington sighs.

"Yeah, but we're together now, and that's all that matters," I smile weakly.

"And I have just the song to fit the mood," Ellington smirks as he turns on his phone.  He quickly puts on 'Ain't No Way We're Goin' Home' before continuing to drive.  We drive until around five in the morning before we pull into a cheap hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.  We quickly check into a room before falling asleep just as the sun rises.

When I wake, I'm nestled in Ellington's arms.  I smile to myself before I press my lips against his and roll on top of him.  He kisses me back sleepily before I get out of bed and stretch.

"We're getting married today," Ellington croaks as I look down at him.  I give him a huge smile before sitting on top of him and caressing his face.

"I love you," I whisper as I get closer to him.  Our lips melt together in a passionate kiss that goes by way too fast.

"I love you too baby," he says softly as he sits up.

"What are we gonna do for breakfast?" I ask him.

"Breakfast?  It's almost one in the afternoon!" he laughs.

"Room service?' I giggle.

"Yeah!" he squeals like a little kid.

"What do you want?" he asks as he looks for the menu.

"I don't know.  Get us something to share, I'm going to take a shower," I say as I get up and look for the special outfit I packed for today.

"Ok, I'm on it," he states.  I grab my clothes and head to the bathroom for my shower.  I set down my outfit on the sink and turn on the shower.  I take off my pajamas and throw them to the floor before getting into the shower and washing myself.  I finish my shower quickly, eager to get back to Ellington.  I quickly blow dry my hair and put on my clothes before looking at myself in the mirror.

I'm wearing a white lace dress with short sleeves.  The dress is tight around my chest, but is loose and flowy around the bottom.  It shows off a bit of skin, but it still leaves a lot to the imagination.  I thought it would be the perfect wedding dress since it's casual and comfortable, but elegant at the same time.  Although the dress is beautiful, I still can't help but feel mildly insecure.  What if Ellington doesn't like it?  I guess there's only one way to find out.

I take a deep breath before exiting the bathroom.  I find Ellington laying on the bed in his pajama pants, watching tv.  He immediately turns it off when he sees me.  His jaw drops when I walk over to him and place my hand on his shoulder.

"Wow," he breaths as his eyes scan my body.

"You're so beautiful," he whispers as he stands up and caresses my face.  I close my eyes as his lips meet mine.  The kiss deepens and Ellington's hands start exploring my body.  I force myself to pull away before the kiss gets too hot, leaving Ellington wanting more.

"Save it for tonight, babe," I smile.  A smirk plays across Ellington's lips as he takes his hands off me and looks through his suitcase.

"I got you this, since I knew your wedding outfit wouldn't be complete without one of these," Ellington smiles as he hands me a white flower crown.  I take it from him and place it on my head before giving him a smile.

"It's perfect," I grin before giving him another kiss.

"I'm glad," he smiles.

"Thank you," I whisper.  He gives me a quick 'you're welcome' kiss before he gathers his things and goes to the bathroom for his shower.  I plop myself down on the bed and wonder what to do since Ellington and I no longer have cell phones.  Eventually, I decide to turn on the tv.  I surf through different news channels which talk about various things from fires, to murders, to public heroes.  None interest me.  I eventually settle on watching the World Cup since there's nothing better on.

Eventually there is a knock on the door.  That must be breakfast!  I eagerly get up and answer it to find a lady with our breakfast tray.  A weird look washes over her face when she sees me.  Crap! She must know who I am.

"Um, thank you," I say awkwardly as I take our breakfast from her.  I gently close the door before setting the tray down on the bed.  I take the lid off of the plate to reveal chocolate chip pancakes! Yum!  I pick up my fork and knife and begin eating.  I finish half of the pancakes and save the rest for Ellington.  When Ellington comes out of the bathroom, he devours his pancakes and lays back in satisfaction when he's done.

"I can't believe we're doing this, babe!" I smile with excitement.

"Well believe it because in a few hours, we'll be married," he smiles as he sits up and looks into my eyes.

"It all just seems so unreal.  Everything feels like it's working out perfectly and that we're actually going to get away with this!"  The moment I say that, memories of Taylor's creepy brother come back to me.

"But what about Taylor's brother?  What if he tries to kill us or something?" I panic suddenly.

"He's not.  He was just trying to scare us into getting his way," Ellington groans.

"I know, but what if he finds us?" I ask.  "Then what?"

"He's not gonna find us.  He doesn't know where we are now and by this time tomorrow, we'll look like completely different people," he assures me.

"Are you sure?" I whimper.  Ellington kisses my nose and stares into my eyes lovingly.

"I'm sure," he whispers.  I pull him in for a long, passionate kiss and all of my worries slip away.

"Now let's go enjoy the rest of our wedding day," he enthuses as he gets off the bed and starts zipping up his suitcase.

"Let's go," I squeal.

"Yeah, let's go!" Ellington sings softly.  We both giggle as we collect our stuff and exit the hotel, beyond ready to be married.
