Rydel's POV

I look down at the gorgeous sparkling ring and back at Ellington. I stare back at the ring in awe. Gosh, that thing looks expensive.

"E-Ellington, I don't know what to say," I stammer.

"How about yes?" Ellington whispers as he leans in.

"Yes," I echo as he slowly presses his lips onto mine. He pulls back with a smile on his face as he stares into my eyes lovingly.

"I love you, Rydel," he whispers as he takes my hand.

"I love you too," I beam as he softly pets my hand. He shows me a genuinely happy smile as he takes the ring out of the little box and slides it onto my finger.

"It fits perfectly," I whisper as I nestle myself in his arms. We cuddle in silence for a few minutes, until we see a light go on in the house.

"Ellington, take me somewhere," I demand.

"Where?" he asks.

"Somewhere we can spend the night," I answer. More lights keep turning on in the house, causing Ellington to panic. He picks me up and makes a mad dash for his car. He places me in the passenger seat before rushing around to the front seat. The minute he sits down, he slams the door shut and hits the gas. We speed down the empty street as our cares slip away. I'll deal with my brothers tomorrow. After a short while of driving Ellington pulls into a Motel 6 parking lot.

"Is this what you were talking about?" he asks.

"Yup," I smile.

"Good," he sighs. He carries me into the lobby and quickly gets us a room to spend the night in. He sets me down briefly in front of our door to open the room. Once he figures out how the key works, he carries me inside and lays me down on the bed. He goes back to shut the door before sitting on the bed in front of me. I quickly connect my lips with his, and soon we are in a full blown make out session. This session could have lasted hours, but only lasted minutes due to Ellington's phone ringing.

"Hello?" he answers with annoyance.

"Ellington? Are you with Rydel?" A male voice, who I'm guessing belongs to Riker, asks.

"No," Ellington lies.

"Yes you are! Now where are you? What are you doing?" he questions.

"Lo ciento, pero no hablo ingles. Buenas noches! Adios!" he yells into the phone. Ha quickly hangs up and turns off his phone before we stare into each other's eyes. At the exact same moment, we burst into an uncontrollable giggling fit. A half hour passes, and we've rolled into each other's arms, still giggling our heads off.

"Your brothers are going to kill me," Ellington giggles, trying to be serious.

"No they won't," I smile. "I won't let them."

"Yeah, you need to protect me, baby," he laughs.

"I love it when you call me baby," I smirk.

"Well then, shall we pick up where we left off before your brother called...baby?" he says with a dramatic pause before the word 'baby'.

"Ok, but I wanna talk first," I state.

"What about, baby?" he asks.

"About our plan for when we run away," I sigh.

"Ok, well here's what I was thinking: we'd wait a few days after you get your cast off, and then we'd just leave in the middle of the night. We'd find somewhere to stay a few hours from here, and then we'd go to a court house to get married in the morning. We would spend our wedding day by each other's sides the entire day and it would be the best wedding day we could possibly have. Then the next day we'd get our hair cut and maybe get color contacts so no one could recognize us. Then we'd drive across the country to Wisconsin where we could stay with my grandparents until we get jobs and we can afford our own place. In a few years, we could have a real wedding ceremony and a honeymoon and after that, we can start a family. Then we grow old and die," Ellington explains. "How does that sound?"

"Perfect," I beam before pressing my lips against his. Soon, we're back to making out.

"Baby," Ell breaths as he pulls away.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"You gotta tell me how far we're gonna go tonight so I can know when to stop myself," he states.

"We should stop now, it's pretty late," I sigh.

"Ok," he sighs. He stands up and strips down to his underwear before getting under the blanket. I smirk at him as I crawl under the blanket as well.

"Hey, I don't have pajamas," Ell states defensively.

"It's ok, I don't mind you sleeping in your underwear," I smirk.

"Naughty girl," he groans.

"Says the man in his underwear," I laugh as I snuggle into his arms.

"Yeah yeah, good night," he smiles as he turns off the light.

"Night baby," I whisper before he brushes my lips. With that, we fall into a peaceful sleep.

When I wake, I open my eyes to the most beautiful sight, my sleepy husband to be. I smile spreads across my lips, knowing already that today is going to be a good day. I roll over to check the time, which is 12:30. Oh well! I roll back over and I watch my gorgeous fiancé sleep until his eyes flutter open.

"Morning baby," he yawns before giving me a gentle kiss.

"Good morning, love," I coo.

"Want me to take you to the bathroom?" he offers.

"Yes please," I smile. He takes me to the bathroom, where I quickly do my business. Once I'm done, he picks me up and puts me back on the bed. He uses the bathroom before getting his clothes on and carrying me back to the car.

"I suppose I have to take you home now," he sighs.

"Not unless you want to take me out for lunch," I smile cheekily.

"But you're in your pajamas," he chuckles.

"I don't care!" I exclaim.

"Alrighty then," he smiles. We enjoy two hours worth of eating, talking, laughing, and flirting before Ellington drives me home. When we get there, Ell carries me to the front porch and Riker pulls us inside.

"Where were you two last night?" Riker screams angrily as he pulls us inside.

"It's none of your business," Ellington says firmly.

"Yes it is! She is my baby sister and my band mate!" Riker yells.

"That doesn't matter! You need to stay out of her love life!" Ellington exclaims.

"Ok, I will. Rydel, I won't ask you any questions when you get back from dinner at Taylor's later," Riker states. Ellington growls at the very mention of another man being my love life. My family, who's been standing there the entire time, begins to look nervous.

"Rydel is mine!" Ellington screams.

"No she's not, dude. You're not allowed to date," Riker states. I put my hand over the ring on my finger, because the last thing Riker needs to know is the news of our engagement. I'll tell him later when he's had time to cool off, and maybe that'll address his concern about Ellington and I breaking up and maybe we won't have to run away. As nice as a life alone with Ellington sounds, I love my brothers and my fans. I'll miss them way too much.

"It isn't your decision, Riker," Ellington growls.

"Rocky, take Rydel upstairs," Riker orders. Rocky obeys and carries me up the stairs as I struggle in his arms.

"Sorry Rydel," he whispers as he drops me on my bed. He shuts the door behind him, leaving me alone with the sounds of yelling and commotion downstairs.
