Wa$$up witcha

The lunch bell rang and I hurried to my locker.

"Wassup?" A voice came behind me.

"Hey." I turned around and my face was inches away from Langston.

"Thought I'd meet you an we'd walk to lunch." I smiled.

He closed my locker and linked arms with me.

"Did you have fun saturday?"

"Yeah execpt I got a bad vibe from Valerie. I don't think she likes me." I frowned.

"She never likes anyone I like. She wants me but I don't want her big jolly green giant face ass."

I couldn't help but laugh.

For some reason when I was around Langston I got butterflies.

We sat at the lunch table and a couple minutes later everyone else showed up.

"Asia why the fuck do you got on that hot ass scarf?" Day Day clowned.

"Chill my neck was cold this morning." Asia laughed.

"Mhmm." Ceejay squished his face up and snatched her scarf of.

"Ehhhh." She screamed.

"Aaaaaahhhh Frank tore that neck up!!!!!"

"Shut up and give me my scarf." She got up to chase him.

Frank just sat there looking dumb.

"Whats wrong with you bro?" Corey asked.

In the mist of the commotion somehow Langston arm ended up around my shoulder.

Just then Julian walked up.

"Where was you my nigga?" Corey asked.

"I had to finish my test my nigga." Julian said them looked my way and shook his head.

"Alright lets get this video started my nigga." Ceejay was wearing Asia scarf.

The boys went and started their video.

"Did ya'll see the way Julian looked at me?" I asked.

"Nah, what happened?" Kaleah was texting.

"I don't know I was bout to ask ya'll."

"He ain't say nothing to us and he don't got no reason to be I mean this only our 2nd week knowing you."

I shrugged.

**^Later that day***

Knock knock.

I was laying on my bed doing my homework.

"What?" I called out.

I was still irritated with my dad, I had spoke to him few times as possible since our fight saturday.

"Brought you some brownies."

He set the plate on my bed.

"Is this your way of apologizing?" My dad knew I loved homemade brownies.

"Yes I'm sorry." He sat on my bed.

I sat up and grabbed a square.

"I'm sorry too, I should've never said what I said I was mad."

"I know but everything you said was true. I judge them without knowing them. You're getting older, you're mature and responsible I trust you its those nappy headed boys I don't trust." He smiled and bite into a brownie. "I trust you to be smart enough to not fall for them, I got some rules that hopefully we'll agree."
