Later that night I sat on my bed with Asia doing homework and talking.
"Frank plays too much sometimes, what'd you get for number 9?" Asia complained as we reviewed our math homework.
"What you mean & I got x=-11" I looked at the paper.
"Okay good me too and like sometimes I feel like he's not 100 with our relationship, I will pour out my feelings to him and he'll change the subject and when I ask him why he changed the subject he'll just laugh and change it again."
"Well maybe he's scared to come in contact with his feelings, you know boys never want to show emotions. And plus he did sag you were his longest relationship and that might scare him because he never felt the way he feels about you with another girl." I suggested and dug into the pretzel bag.
"Thanks." She smiled. "Well enough about me who's this crush of your?"
"Ohhh no one!" I sang smiling.
"Mhmmm, don't lie now! I think I have an idea."
"Okay I might as well confess it! It's Langston." I giggled and covered my face.
"I knew it! I think he likes you back!"
"You think so?" I looked up at her.
"Yepp, his eyes are slanted but when he looks at you they get all big and bright! You know who might also have a crush on you?"
"Who?" I sat up and propped my pillow on my legs.
"Julian!" She filled her mouth with skittles.
"Nunuh!" I looked at her.
She nodded. "He told me actually, he told me to hook ya'll up."
"Get out of here."
"I'm getting out!!" She laughed.
"Well I honestly only look at Julian in a friend kind of way, I don't want to hurt his feelings." I looked down.
"Well don't we don't know for sure if Langston likes you so wait it out and then choose."
"Langston asked to hang out just me and him saturday and even if things don't happen between us I still have no feelings for Julian." I confessed.
"Really? Awh well thats great! Where ya'll going?"
"I don't know he told me to meet him at the skate park saturday morning."
Asia frowned. "The skate park? Really?"
I couldn't help but laugh.
My phone rang.
"Oh wow its Julian." I read the caller ID.
"Answer it!" She rushed.
"Hello!" I answered.
"Wassup?" Julian talked softly.
"Nothing doing homework with Asia."
"Oh I can call you back if you want?" He suggested.
"No thats okay! What are you doing?" I moved my humanties book and laid down.
"Just came home." His voice was still soft.
I laughed. "Let me guess, from Taco Bell with the crew?"
"You know us so we." I could hear his smile.
"Do ya'll ever do ya'll homework?" I joked.
"Yeah I'm bout to do it now, I was just calling to see if you wanted to do something saturday?"
