"Okay so what year did Harriet Tubman discover the underground railroad?" I asked.
"I don't know but her and Madam cj walker should been friends so she can hot comb her hair." Langston laughed so loud and Asia joined in.
We were all in my room studying for our african american history test.
"Come on be serious." I was annoyed.
"1849." He cleared his throat.
"I have to go to the bathroom lets have a break." Asia stood up and headed towards the bathroom.
"Mhm a little time alone." Langston crawled from the end of the bed to where I was sitting and kissed me.
As good as it felt I had to pull back.
"What?"
"My dad is in the other room." I whispered.
He shrugged and kissed me again.
"Langston seriously!" I pushed him back.
"Damn what's wrong with you?" He sat back in the computer chair.
"Nothing its just...nothing."
Asia walked in.
"Well I hate to break this study date but Frank just asked me to meet him at Johnny Rockets so I'll catch ya'll later."
Asia put her items in her backpack and grabbed her purse.
"Peace out." Langston threw up his two fingers.
"So you want to still study?" I went and stood in front of him.
"No I want to talk about why you're acting so weird." He pulled me on his lap.
I sat in silence.
I really wanted this thing to work with Langston. I wanted to tell him about my kiss with Julian but what if he took it as I was someone who couldn't be trusted and trust is important thats why I wanted to tell him.
"Okay well promise you wont be mad?" I bite my bottom lip.
"It depends...I promise if I do get mad I wont stay mad.."
"Well Me &-"
"Hold up Julian's calling me." He cut me off. "Hello? Nothing at Tash house, wassup? Oh for real? Yeah what about? Oh straight up?" Langston stood up and I fell off his lap.
"What the hell?" I mumbled.
"Yeah, nah its tight bro. Fasho well I'm bout to slide through see you in a minute." Langston hung up and glared at me.
"What was that all about?" I stood up.

him yourself homie hopper." Langston walked out the door.
"Wait Lang!." I followed behind him.
"See ya later Mr. Taylor." Langston ignored me and said goodbye to my father.
"Langston really? You're not even going to listen to what I have to say?"
He closed the front door without a word.
"Whats wrong kid?" My dad asked.
I shook my head.
"Well I got a job down at the plant I'm going to be working alot my starting hours at 6pm-6am I'll work more hours once I get the hang of it. I don't want you to be lonely so I thought we could get a dog."
"Thats great dad! I'm proud lets go to dinner and No dog thats too much work."
"How about dinner this weekend I have to head into plant for last minute things, sorry." He kissed my forhead and walked out the door.
"Great." I mumbled and headed towards my room and sent Asia a text.
Me: So why right when I was bout to tell Langston about the kiss Julian called him.
Asia: And?
Me: Julian told him
Asia: Wht happened?
Me: Lang mad asf he dropped me off his lap and dipped out
Asia: He ain't try to talk about it?
Me: Nope
Asia: Damn but I'll call you later.

*8pm*
I was laying on the living room couch when my stomach growled.
I got up to go and the kitchen but there wasn't anything quick.
I grabbed my keys and a jacket and headed towards taco bell
As I entered the doors the rangers were walking out.
We all stopped and stared akwardly.
"Oh hey guys." I smiled.
"Sup?" Ceejay was the only one to respond.
The rest of them nodded and walked off .
Suddenly I wasn't hungry anymore I turned around and headed home.
"Tash wait." Julian called out.
"Nah bro let her go." Langston tapped his shoulder.
