I was getting ready for Langstons party when my phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered without looking at the caller ID.
"Thank gawd, we've been trying to get ahold of you all week."My manager spoke into the phone.
Damn! I thought to myself I'd been ignoring them all week trying to rebuild my friendship with.
"Sorry I've been busy. I'm busy now so I can't talk." I tried to rush off the phone.
"You have to be downtown LA like now!" Stephan yelled
"Wait what?" I was confused.
"There is a viewing party, you have to be there. Wear white. A car is on the way to get you." He hung up.
I looked down at my outfit.
I was suppose to be the one to walk Langston into his surprise party, I told him I wanted to take him on a normal date to make up for what happened but really I'd be taking him to the party. Now I had to cancel I knew he'd be mad.
I pulled out my phone & called his mom.
"Ya'll on the way?" She answered.
"No I have to cancel an important meeting came up and I have to be there I'm sorry." I felt like crap.
"Call him and tell him that you have to cancel and then I'll offer to take him out to make up for it, you think you'll make it at all?"
"I hope so."
**Langstons POV**
"Hey baby." I answered the phone, things were finally getting back to normal with us. I planned on telling her about BeeBee over our date.
"Hi. Please don't hate me." She whined. "I have to go to a viewing but maybe after we could watch movies."
"Sure, I guess." I was so pissed off.
"Kay well my car is here got to go. Love you!" She hung up.,
I stormed in my room and changed back into my basketball shorts.
My phone rang.
"Hello."
"Hey Lang Lang." My mom sounded too happy.
"Hi mom."
"Are you getting ready to leave with Tasha?" She asked & I got even more upset.
"Nah, she ditched me."
"I'm sorry. Want to have dinner with me?"
Having dinner with my mom is not what I wanted after being left hanging by my girlfriend. "I'm not feeling it."
"Aw come on, you could use some food, I know you hungry."
"Okay fine." I gave him.
"I'll be there shortly. Dress nice!" She hung up.
15 minutes later my mom pulled up.
"Hey handsome." She said as I hopped in the passenger seat.
I nodded my head.
We drove for what seemed like forever before pulling in front of a dark building.
"What is this?" I asked.
"A restuarant boy. Quit asking questions." She got out of the car and I followed behind.
We walked in and then through some double doors.
