POV- Gale Nash
"She's okay, right?" I asked the doctor.
"She has a mild concussion on top of the one she had. Other than that, she should be fine. Her bruises are coming along well, they are much better than when she was first in here." Her bruises? I wonder when I'm going to found out how she got those. I wouldn't be surprised if her boyfriend was beating her.
"What about Dakota?" I asked pointing in to the room I was outside of.
"He has a broken collarbone, and will have to stay at home for a couple days before going back to school. Same for Abby."
"Okay thank you," I said trying to be generous to the fact the doctors wouldn't tell us what was wrong yesterday. Thankfully, Abby and Dakota get to come home today. I walked down the hallway to Abby's room. She was sitting up on the bed watching me walk in.
"So when do I get to leave this shit hole? I think I'v been in here one to many times. And how is Dakota?"
"Haha today, and he's will be just fine. He's coming home today, but you two can't do anything. Especially drive, got that?"
"Yeah, just get me out of here. I rather be dizzy at my own house." I was helping her up, and getting her stuff ready when Dakota, Tracy, and Damion walked into the room.
"Were ready," Dakota said in a snotty way.
"You can go out to my car, Tracy and Damion know where it is. Here are the keys." I threw the keys to Damion, hoping he would catch them. If he didn't the people walking by would stop to see what was going on inside this room after they heard them smash to the ground like a tree. He caught them.
"Okay, we will be waiting," Damion said. Then three of them walked off. I grabbed Abby sweatshirt off the chair and helped her put it on. Soon enough we were downstairs, and out the door. I was holding her hand, guiding her along. We made it to the car, and their sat the three of them in the back seat. I walked Abby over to the passenger side of the car, opened the door for her, and helped her in. We were out of their in no time. Dakota was taken home, while Tracy and Damion stayed with him in case he needed anything. After they left, I pulled out of the driveway and went back to Abby's house.
"You know he could have hypnotized you. You could be leaving, and everything could go back to normal," Abby said looking my way.
"I know... I, I just wanted to take a risk. For you. I want you to be happy, with whoever you want. This shouldn't be a competition with hypnotism. It should be true love, because your PRICELESS and can't be replaced. And you don't deserve to be used by some jerk."
"He's not a jerk, he's super nice."
"Then how do you get so many bad bruises?" I said to her in a strong tone.
"That wasn't from him. I was tricked one day after school by the cheerleaders and jocks... Then yeah, self explanatory. I was knocked out for a few hours, and before dusk I woke up and drove myself to Dakotas. He and his dad took me to the hospital, and that's all I remember."
"Really?" I said back surprised that bullies existed here.
"Yeah, he was the first person I met when I came to this town. He showed me around and stuff. We ended up doing a project together on snowflakes... and yeah. Were here now."
"Hey, I was a-a-a a wondering if you wanted to go out to eat later this week. After you get better and all."
"Your not leaving?"
"No, I just got here are you crazy."
"So when are you going?"
"Well, never. I was planning on going to the local collage, Arvada campus of Rocks Community Collage, and getting my own house out here. There is nothing left in Frankenstein, no one to talk to. It's a lonely, tiny town. The main town is taking it over now. The only place that has chance of staying is the graveyard, that is if 10 people matter."
"They can't can they? They would'nt harm the dead over a McDonald's would they? They can't! Don't they have a rule book saying where they can't and can build, and like in bold it says NOT OVER THE DEAD. Why did we leave... What about the school?"
"They are changing the high school into and elemenrary school with some expansions, and buliding a new middle and high school. It's sad isn't it?"
"I just, I can't believe any of what you are saying. I think I need at nap."
"Well we are home, so here you go. Let me help you." I got out of the car, and walked over to her side and opened the door. I grabbed her hands, and pulled her up. She got dizzy and was swaying from side to side before I grabbed her, and asked her if she was okay. Closing the door we started to walk. I opend the door, and she made her way upstairs with the help of the railing. A minute or so later I walked upstairs to see how she was doing, while bringing her a glass of water. I turned the door nob to the right when I saw a quick movement while she hud something. "Hey, I brought you a glass of water."
"Thank you." She took the glass and started chugging it."
"Easy Cookie Bear, do you want cookies with that?" I said with a smile. She took the glass from her lips, and set it on the night stand.
"Hahaha, no I'm fine." There was a moment of silence when we just staired at eachother. I knew it was the perfect time for that last kiss I was going to get from her. I leaned in for a kiss, when she grabbed me and pulled me in. He warm lips felt amazing next to mine. From the fact she just came from a hospital, she smelled the berries and flowers. She pulled away before I could get more. "I had to, at least, well I mean... I'm tired. I need rest." She said studering a lot.
"Yeah, I'll let you go. You need to sleep with that broken head of yours. Talk to you later Abby. Don't go running off."
POV- Abby Tucker
Gale was walking out the door when I fell back in love. The kiss was amazing. The best kiss I ever got from anyone. Even better than the last time. I closed my eye's and could imagine him standing there while pounding pain went through my head.
"Abby, come here Abby. You know I love you! Abby, you and I both know we knew each other before we even met." Dakota said on my right shoulder.
"No Cookie Bear, you always had a crush on me. And I have a crush on you my love. Don't leave me. I want to be with you and protect you in any case of danger... Please don't leave me or I'll die." Gale said on my left dressed like a sexy devil.
"Abby, don't kill me. I'm an angle, sent from the Lord. You know we were meant. You may not see it right now, but please you have to trust me!!!"
"Kill him Abby, you know it's going to be me..."
