POV- Gale Nash
"Boy's tie 'em down. They need their shots." A man came over to me and I couldn't move. I was paralyzed. The two men lifted me up next to Tracy, and tied me to the van wall. A woman came around with a syringe and shoved it in Dakota's arm first. It took a minute or so, but his eyes drifted away. Then Abby fell asleep. Damion, Tris, and before me it was Tracy.
"NOOO! GET AWAY FROM ME! AHHH! IT'S A NEEDLE! SAVE ME GALE!" I just looked at her and tried not to laugh. The girl then came in front of me after getting a new syringe.
"Kate, are you done yet?"
"No, just one more Trent. I'll make sure this one is painful for him." I looked up at Kate with a glare. Before I fell asleep or passed out, I saw Kate walk over to Trent and kiss him on the lips. I caught a few words Kate said too, "They... FHUH... better."
"Don't cry dad. She's in a better place. She's watching you right now. You should be happy for her. Let's go home and do something fun!"
"Why don't you go home, I'll be there in a while."
"Dad, it's okay," Sylvester said while my other children were walking away. "I'll take Salone, Narnia, and Elizabeth home, stay here all you like. Just remember that we still love you." I looked at my boy who was now about 23. He had to wear his military uniform since he had the privilege to come home from his Fort for his mothers funeral. He gave me a hug and walked away.
I walked over to her casket, and looked down a full fathom to where she lay. "I'm sorry Tracy. It wasn't supposed to end like this. I didn't mean to get you hurt. I mean, you were supposed to be protected. Things just got out of order, and well... well..." Tears ran down my face. They didn't stop. The whole location changed. I was in a glass rectangle full of my tears. They didn't stop, I was drowning in my own tears...
I woke up in a room with a bunch of bunk beds. I was the only one in the room. The windows were dirty, but I went up to one of the three and looked out it. A street below was busy with people. Cars stoped and went. People walked with dogs, bags, or nothing. It was like a normal town. I was in an small apartment room, with a tiny bathroom. I walked to the door and it opened fine.
I walked out the door and took a right down the stairs. I door stopped me before I could walk 20 steps. I tried the knob, but it was locked. I looked through the small, rectangle window with lines and saw a girl. It was Tracy. Damion stood to her right. Tracy stood to her left, and Kate and Trent stood in front of the three of them. Something came in from behind me, it was Dakota. I jumped a little startled and hit the door with a big crash. The others on the other side of the door heard it. Kate walked over and pulled Dakota and me into the room. It was a train station. No one was around though.
"Well, well, well, look who we have here. Trying to save his girlfriend. Too bad he is too late." Kate pulled the gun up and shot Tracy in the head. Trent pulled out a gun pointed it at my head. Tracy was motion-less on the ground bleeding to death. He clicked the bullet into place, but before he made an effort to pull the trigger I jumped on top of him. Out of somewhere a group of 10 people came in. They charged through the doors taking Kate into custody. It took three men to get her onto the ground on her stomach. Trent still head the gun to my head, but he put me in front of him as his shield.
"If you shot, then he dies. Your werewolf dies just like the other one." Men gathered around Tracy.
"She's dead sir." One with flippy blonde hair and bright blue eyes said. Before I knew what was going on, Trent fell to the ground and his gun skid across the floor. The same man who preached Tracy dead when to go retrieve it. I fell to my knees and cried. By best friend, my mate was dead. Gone. I will never hear here sweet voice again. I glimpsed up at her for one last time, and I saw Damion trying to give her CPR. A different man, I hadn't noticed before, was pulling him up. We were all ushered to the train, while Tracy and Trent just lay dead on the ground.
We made in onto the train, and I plopped down onto a seat. The train started moving, and the same man with blonde hair came and sat next to me. "Hi Gale. Congratulations, you survived FHUH's test. I missed you man. I'm glad to have you back!"
"Who are you? What test." I said back looking at him confused.
"I'm your brother, Colton? Don't you remember me?" I shook my head. No wonder he look familiar.
"Is it over?" I asked about this some test he said I passed.
"It sure is. Your back to your normal life dude! You can come home!" I looked out the window, and my mind drained off in the outside world. None of this made any sense in my mind. There was something missing... something like Tracy.
I can't believe the first book it over. It's crazy! This book is crazy! I'm astonished it has almost 500 reads. That may not seem like a lot to you, but for being a terrible piece of writing, I truly love it. Thank you all so much for those who barred with me till the end, and those who at least read the first chapter! (P.S. It has over 60 reads... teehee!) BTW this book is super special to me because I finished it on my birthday! I'm officially 14, and I love bean casserole! < Don't you like that random fun fact about me?
