Abby Tucker is a small town girl, in Frankenstein, who get bullied all the time at her new school. One day she tries to escape her life by going to her secret place, a lake. She stays there over night, until her parents find her because of her diary she left laying on her bed. When they take her home, they realize she hates it there, and they make a plan to move to a new house the very next day. The only thing is, Abby is leaving her brother, Luke, behind while he lays in peace in his grave.
When they arrive at the new town, Arada, in the middle of the school year, Abby takes a day or two to unpack and register in the new school. A month before she got there she had been having the weirdest dream about a blonde haired boy. It would repeat over and over all the time, until the first day of school her dream comes true. She meets this blonde boy with the sweet voice. They become very close to each other, and they share their deepest secrets with each other. But then one day they find out someone is after them, no one good too. They have to face these people with their greatest powers, their parahuman powers...
