Chapter Ten: The night before Yoongi's return -part one: Jimin

The day before Yoongi returned to the dorm, Jimin was having an existencial crisis.

Now, anyone would think that, now that Jimin knew Yoongi felt the same way, the younger would feel relieved, happy even, but the truth was, Jimin felt burdened. He'd gotten so used to having one sided feelings that, now that he knew his feelings were returned, he had absolutely no idea what to do.

A part of him was telling him that now that Yoongi was coming back, it was the perfect time to tell him how he felt. This was also the part that told him that there was nothing to fear, that it wasn't like Yoongi would reject him. And yet, there was also the other part, the one that told him that he'd ruin their friendship by confessing, and that it was better if he just stayed silent.

Naturally, Jimin was having an internal conflict.

Jungkook had been the first one to notice that something was going on with his hyung. Jimin had always been very bright and happy even when they were tired as hell and all they wanted was for the day to end and go to sleep, even if it was for two hours, but now, although Jimin kept trying to smile and cheer everyone up, there was something gloomy, something that didn't look good.

The night before Yoongi returned to the dorm, Jungkook had had enough.

They had all arrive to the dorm earlier than they usually did because they all wanted to surprise Yoongi with a small reunion and they'd ask their manager for a little time for them to organize everything. Seokjin had been the one in charge of the logistics, and (like a matter of fate) Jungkook and Jimin were put together for them to buy some of the ingredients for the dishes that Seokjin wanted to cook for Yoongi.

They'd walk side by side, in silence, something that usually never happened because whenever they were together Jimin and Jungkook used to talk nonstop, and when they reached the mini-market, Jungkook decided that, he wouldn't go inside until they'd talk.

"Jimin hyung" he'd say, with a deep serious tone "what's going on?" Jimin looked at him confused, as he stopped walking. "You've been, off lately. I want to know what's going on"

"Nothing is going on, Jungkookie"

"Don't!" Jungkook almost snapped but managed to stop himself "Don't say that cause it's not true. Tell me please hyung, so I can help you"

"Seriously Jungkook, nothing's going on. I'm just tired"

"That's what you've been saying for the past weeks! Hyung, does this... does this have anything to do with Yoongi hyung?" He was careful with his choice of words, and he knew the moment Jimin looked down to his feet that it was indeed because of Yoongi. "Can you tell me? Hyung?"

"Listen Jungkook..." Jimin looked up and saw a pleading Jungkook, pouting. He sighed. "I like Yoongi hyung okay?" He gave up. Jungkook a face lit up.

"I knew it!" He shouted in joy. Jimins face went red.

"Don't do that" Jimin felt embarrassed.

"I'm sorry" Jungkook said happily. "But- did something happen between the two of you? Why have you been so-gloomy?" Jimin sighed.
