Lydia's POV
"Isn't it weird that you're graduating in less than 2 months?" I said to Jordan while laying in his arms.
"Yeah actually, it's gonna feel weird to be graduated" he explained as he ran his fingers through my hair.
"At least you'll be 18 and you can get yourself alcohol, I'll still be 17" I said pouting.
"Well you'll just invite me to your cab and I'll get your drinks for you" he suggested while smiling.
I laughed "Yeah true, hey speaking of being 18, what do you want for your birthday?! It's like a week away!"
"Oh man, I don't even know" he said letting out a big breath of air.
I rolled my eyes at his response "Jordan you have to give me some ideas"
"Ummm" he sighed "I want a big kiss from you" he said laughing
I rolled over and sat my head up a bit so I was facing him "I can just give you one now to save the wait"
"I'd be ok with that" he said before putting his hands on my waste and leaning in.
After the kiss we both smiled at each other.
"I love you" he said before brushing his hands across my temple.
I smiled again, gave him one more quick kiss and then stood up and slipped a shirt on then walked to the bathroom. Jordan whistled at me as I walked away and I just laughed.
"This is so much better than Bio" I yelled from the bathroom as I ran a brush through my hair. "And by the way, I didn't get to eat my pasta because of you."
I could almost hear his eye roll "I'll go warm it up again for you" he mumbled back
"I love you!" I yelled to him as he walked down the stairs.
I started to braid my hair when all of a sudden Jordan came running back up the stairs and into the bathroom.
"Your mother just pulled into the driveway" he said in a panicky voice
"Are you serious?!" I said running to my closet and quickly throwing on some comfy clothes.
"Ok get into bed and act like you've been sleeping and then I'll walk downstairs and say that I just brought you home and I'm making you tea" he said as he walked over to my bed and started picking up the scattered clothing.
I crawled into bed and made myself comfy as I watched Jordan scramble around and the start to walk out the door.
"Jordan before you go downstairs and see my mom you should probably put on a bit more than boxers" I said laughing at him
He came back in the room and tossed his shorts and shirt on then went downstairs.
Jordan's POV
I walked into the kitchen the same time Lydia's mom walked into the door
"Jordan? What are you doing here?" she asked
"Oh hey, umm Lydia's pretty sick so I just brought her home and put her to bed" I lied
"Oh, you're so sweet" she said walking over to me and patting my shoulder.
"Yeah I'm just gonna make her some tea and give her some food" I said a walking towards the microwave where the pasta was still sitting and hit start for another 2 minutes.
She smiled at me "Ok sounds good, I'm just grabbing some papers I forgot this morning then I'll be out of the way"
"Ok" I said smiling back.
