Lydia's POV

I woke up in the best way possible, next to my favorite guy. I looked up at Jordan who was still sleeping and looked incredibly cozy so I really didn't want to wake him but I should probably be home before noon and I had no idea what time it was. I looked around the room but I couldn't see it anywhere, I remember having it on the couch last but then Jordan carried me here. I saw Jordan's phone sitting on the night stand next to him so I slowly reached for it trying not to wake him, once I reached it I clicked the home button, but before seeing the time I saw a text from a number with no name

-hey baby ;) remember what I told you, grads coming up soon and then it's time for you to move-

I felt my heart skip a beat.. what does this text mean. Is Jordan seeing someone else and planning to move in with her after grad? She called him baby.. who is this. There were a million questions running through my mind and I cant seem to figure out the answer to any of them. I crawled out of bed not caring if I woke him up, I scrambled up all my things like my sweater, my phone and my keys and walked out the door into the sunlight. I realized that I was crying now but I got into my car and drove off without a care.

I'm heartbroken, I don't even know what to do or say. I pulled into my driveway and just sat there in my car listening to music for a few minutes. I finally got the nerve to pull myself together and go inside, my mom was probably in the kitchen cooking breakfast and my dad was probably sitting on the couch with the newspaper, just a typical Sunday morning in our house. I couldn't go in the house crying because my mom would ask a million questions that I'm not prepared to answer. Besides it would just bring me more pain.

As I walked into the house I saw my mom in the kitchen just as I predicted and dad sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee and half a plate of breakfast left.

"Hey sweetie, how was your night?" my mom said before giving me a kiss on the cheek

"It was good, we just watched a couple movies and then I fell asleep I guess" I responded putting on a smile "I'm just gonna go shower and get changed" I said before heading upstairs

"Okay but when you're done come back down for some pancakes!' my mom yelled after me

I walked into my room and just layed on my bed for a minute, I pulled out my phone to a picture of me and Jordan at the carnival, we were both laughing and he was trying to shove an ice cream in my face. I felt my tears starting to build up once again so I went to my messages and texted Tyra telling her to come over. I out my phone down and started walking towards my bathroom to take a shower.

******

I decided to just let my hair go natural today and not bother to wear makeup. I threw on some sweats and a tank top and layed on my bed again, I picked up my phone and saw 3 new messages and 2 missed calls from Jordan

-Where are you?-

-Why did you leave?-

-Lydia answer me please-

I decided to text back instead of leaving him with no explanation although he really didn't deserve one

-check your messages "baby"- I responded mocking the unknown girl

I instantly got a message back

-oh god Lydia let me explain- He wrote back

I turned my phone off because I really didn't want to talk to him right now, and I know he isn't going to stop messaging me until I answer. Tyra should be here shortly anyway, just as I thought that she walked into my room.

"Lyd?" she asked

"What" I replied from under my blankets

"What happened" she said as she walked over to my bed and crawled under the covers with me.

"I don't even know, Jordan had a message on his phone this morning from some girl and she called him baby" I spat out trying not to cry again

"Lyd I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding... Jordan would never do that to you" she explained

"I don't know what it was or who it was, but I do not want to talk to him"

"what if he doesn't know who it is either.. maybe there was a reason he never opened the message" she tried to explain again

"Lydia Jordan's here" I heard my mom yell from downstairs, and just a few seconds later there he was, standing at my door.
