Chapter 34

Lydia's POV

I slipped off my dress and changed into some more comfortable clothing, I put on a blue flowy tank top and some black lulu leggings then some sandals. The cab doors closed in like 40 minutes so we had time to get there.

"Tyra are you ready yet?" I yelled to her.

"Yeah one second, I'm just putting my hair up" she yelled back from the bathroom.

"We're leaving in like 5 minutes" I said again.

"Alright"

I layed on my bed wondering how tonight was going to go, I was a little bit nervous. I pulled out my phone from my pocket and saw that I had a text from Jordan.

Jordan -You there yet? I think I'm leaving to go there at 10!-

I read the message the looked at the time and it was already 10:16 and he sent that about 20 minutes ago.

I responded.

Me -We should be leaving right away!-

Jordan -Okay I'm already here!-

Me -Alright we'll leave soon-

Jordan - Can't wait :)-

I left the conversation at that and then grabbed $20 from my wallet so I can buy some drinks.

"Hey Tyra?" I called to her.

"Yeah?"

"How much money should I bring for drinks?" I asked.

She walked out of the bathroom and put her coat on. "Probably just $20, that's all I brought last year and it got me like 10 drink tickets or something like that"

"Alright, ready to go? Jordan's texting me and asking where I am" I laughed.

"Yeah I'm ready, let's go"

We walked outside and it was raining so we ran to the car pretty fast and headed to the cab.

It was about a 15 minute drive from my house to the hall it was happening in but the drive went fast with some music and conversation.

"God I'm so excited!" Tyra yelled as she ran out of the car and into the hall.

We had to show the people at the front our ID's so we could get in but after that we walked into the cab and it was party central.

"LYDIA!" Jordan yelled as soon as he saw me. He opened his arms and walked towards me, I met him halfway and let him wrap me in a hug. All of a sudden I was off the floor and he had picked me up and spun me around.

"I'm so happy your here!" He said as he put me down and looked into my eyes.

"How much have you had to drink already?" I said laughing.

"Oh not a lot actually, I've only had like 1, ask Raena" he said laughing back.

"It's true" Raena said as she walked into the conversation. "He's just in a really good mood right now"

I looked around and saw that Tyra had already found Luke and they were dancing and having fun.

"Well I don't know about you guys but I could use a drink" I said laughing. "But Jordan I need you to buy it for me because I'm not 18" I handed him the money so he could get my drink tickets.

"Yeah of course" he took the money and went up to the bar area.

Raena and I watched him walk away and she turned to me and started laughing.

"What are you laughing at?" I smiled

She giggled again. "You two kill me, you guys are obviously still in love but you aren't together"

I shook my head and laughed. "Tyra said the same thing"

"I don't blame her, you guys need to get back together. Seriously, Jordan looks happy but he's dying on the inside, losing you killed him and he's not doing well." She explained.

"We'll see" I said as I watched him walk back towards us with a drink and a $20 bill in his hands.

"Why do you still have my money?" I laughed.

"Because you're not paying for your drinks" he smiled as he handed me my drink and my money back.

I shook my head and smiled at him. "It's not even worth fighting"

"Yeah cause I'll win and you know it" he smirked.

"You're right" I said before taking a gulp of my drink.

"Hey Jordan what's up!?" A stumbling blonde yelled as she leaned on Jordan and stroked his arm.

I rolled my eyes and looked at Jordan.

"Wow Shanda, 20 minutes into the party and you're already slobbering, you're parents must be proud" I said in a snotty tone. "And get off of his arm"

"He doesn't mind, right Jordan" she said to looming him at him.

"Yeah get the hell off of me" he said as he yanked his arm away.

She scowled and looked at both of us "Ugh, whatever you're just a bitch anyway" she turned and said to me.

"A bitch who got the guy" I said as I walked closer to Jordan and grabbed his hand then flaunted it in her face"

She looked at our hands and glared. "Seriously Jordan" she snarled.

He just smiled and gave her a sarcastic wave signifying her to leave.

She gave us another glare and then walked away. Jordan looked at our hands that were still intertwined and smiled again.

"So, we're holding hands" he stated.

"We are" I smiled.

He reached down and grabbed my other hand and then looked into my eyes.

"I miss this so much " he whispered as he inched closer.

I smiled and brushed my fingers along his temple and played with his hair "I miss it too"

"You're back" he smiled "You're doing the thing you always did before we kissed, you brush your fingers across my temple"

"Well I guess you know my next move then" I whispered.

Our lips met and it was more passionate than ever. We broke the kiss and looked into each other's eyes for a moment.

"I love you Lydia" he smiled.

"I love you too" I said before kissing him again.

The song amazed by lonestar came on, and we both smiled at each other

"Shall we?" He said.

"Of course" I smiled again.
