Chapter 24

Lydias POV

Monday morning passed quickly and it's was lunch time now. We usually eat in the student council room because the cafeteria is way to packed and loud.

"This school day has been dragging on for way too long, I seriously just want to go home" Tyra said as she dug through my lunch kit looking for food.

I usually let Tyra eat some of my lunch, I don't usually eat a ton because I'm never hungry so she just eats the food is don't want.

"too bad we have practice tonight" I said making her even more cranky

"I'm too sick to go to practice" she before pressing her hand against her forehead and sighing

"Well don't get me sick" I said moving away. "Or Jordan, he's gets incredibly cranky when he's sick and I don't want to deal with it." I stuck my tongue out at her

"Did you just stick your tongue out at me?" she jokingly said to me then stuck her whole face in my lunch bag and breathed on everything

"Did you just breathe on all my food" I said looking at her

"yup" she said proudly

I rolled my eyes and playfully scowled.

"God Tyra now you infected everything" I said snatching the bag from her "actually you can just have it now" I said shoving it back to her

She dug into it and started eating my cookies "thanks"

I playfully glared at her "You're a bag"

Jordan walked into the council room and plopped his transformers lunch box on the table then started talking to Raena. "Did you her about the new students we're getting?!" I heard her say

He started walking over to me and sat down next to me "No I didn't, what grade are they in?" He asked

"I think Mr. Raymond said there was a girl in grade 11 and a guy in grade 12" Raena added excitedly.

"Well that's kinda exciting" I said before stealing a cookie from Jordan

"Yeah they're actually supposed to be getting here right away, I think Mr. Raymond was gonna bring them here to meet us, cause we're council and supposivlely leadership kinda a people" Raena said again

"Well I don't know about you guys but I think this school could always use some more men" Tyra added sarcastically

We all started laughing "What ever happened to Luke?" I asked with a pouty face

"I don't actually know, we haven't talked for a few days" she said in an annoyed voice

"What an ass" Jordan added in taking a bite of his cookie

Tyra and I looked at him "you don't even know who he is" she said laughing.

Jordan shrugged his shoulders and smiled "Yeah I do, he's the guy you were talking to Lydia about a couple months ago at that basketball tournament"

"Oh" she groaned then laughed

"Yeah that's right, I know things Tyra" he joked

Everyone started laughing at Jordan's snarky comment.

"I swear I'm dating a child" I joked

"oh you definitely are" he said before kissing my cheek then getting up and grabbing his bagel from his lunch.

Chris's POV

"I'm so glad you're here!" I said pulling her into a hug "how did you do it?"

"Well it wasn't easy actually" I told my mom I was getting bullied real bad in my old school so she said I could move here, but only if Luke agreed to" she said smirking

"How did you manage to convince Luke to do it?" I asked quietly so people in the cafeteria wouldn't hear.

"I told him his little girly friend went to his school so he said he'd do it" she smiled again and clapped her hands.

"Well as long as you know the plan then you're good to go" I whispered again

"Oh I know the plan don't worry" she smirked"

"Shanda?" Mr. Raymond budded in and asked.

"Yes?" She said cheery

"Oh perfect, then we should go meet some classmates of yours and your brothers! Sound good?" He said to her

"Yes definitely! I can't wait!" She said again "I think Luke just went to the bathroom though, he should be back any minute now"

"Oh there he is now" Mr. Raymond said pointing in his direction.

Tyra's POV

Why did Luke stop talking to me, everything was going fine the last time we talked. He just stopped a couple days ago. Whatever, I'll just forget about him, it's not even worth stressing about. Hey there's a new kid coming in grade 12 today, maybe he'll be hot.

"Tyra quit mouth breathing, you're infecting everything" Dean said as he sat on the couch next to me with Tyson following behind him

Dean's the kind of guy to say something that insults you, but he doesn't actually mean it. He usually playfully picks on Lydia.

"Dean, I'm not able to breathe out of my nose right now so you're gonna have to deal with it" I spat back.

Dean didn't say anything, he just took a bite of his apple and carried on with his day, until we heard a knock at the door so Raena stoop up and opened it.

Mr Raymond walked in with a cheery face. "Good afternoon you guys, I've got a couple new students to introduce you too"

All of a sudden I saw Luke's face pop in the door from behind Mr.Raymond. "Hey guys, I'm Luke" he said putting his hands in his pocket.

My jaw dropped and I didn't even know what to say. I looked at Lydia and she had the same stunned look. And then we both realized, there's 2 new students, a boy and a girl... which has to mean

"Hey, I'm Shanda" she said popping in and waving at everyone.

"Oh my God" I heard Jordan mumble, Lydia just sat there staring.

I saw Tyson eye her up and then wink.

"No" I whispered to him and pointed my finger. He looked and me and rolled his eyes.

"Ok you two, this is your senior council room" Mr. Raymond said to Luke and Shanda. "if you join council you're able to have access to this room, but if not you won't be able to be in here." He explained

Shanda looked around the room and kept her eyes on Jordan "Um is everyone in this room right now on student council?" She asked

"Yes they are" Mr. Raymond cheerfully replied.

"Oh ok, I'll join then" she said adjusting her backpack and smiling

"Me too" Luke added making eye contact with me and also smiling.

"Alright perfect!" Mr. Raymond said "I'll leave you two here then, Raena would you mind showing Luke to his classes? And umm Lydia, you can show Shanda around?"

"Oh dear God" Lydia quietly mumbled "Yeah definitely!" She then added with a fake smile.

I noticed Dean was watching our stunned and freaked out faces and was getting confused "What is happening?" He whispered to me.

"I have no idea" I whispered back as I noticed Shanda seductively staring at Jordan.
