Chapter 25-It all falls down

It's 10 am and I'm listening to Christian and Toni argue. Apparently some girl called his phone saying that's her man. Of course Toni said to him about it and things just went downhill from there. Thankfully CJ is in Amaru room with me and Jay. She's been here for the past couple of days because her day went on another business trip and she's as sick as a dog. Amaru didn't want her down there by herself,right now she's half sleep. Amaru went to get her medicine,he literally just left. So now I have to deal with her sick whining,and those two dummies arguing. The only good thing is Cj being sleep.

"Ughh,I'd wish they shut up already." Janet has been low key complaining this whole time. Her and Toni aren't on the Best of terms so she's super annoyed.

"Girl,you better take your sick ass to sleep." Amaru told her to get some rest because she's been up all morning coughing and throwing up.

"I can't with them yelling,bad enough this little girl is up being real active right now." She lifted up her shirt,and at first I was hesitant but I rubbed her belly. I could feel her little foot in the middle of jay's stomach.

"Aww,she's ready to come out as much as she's kicking you right now." That earned me an eye roll.

"Yeah right,her ass has three more months,which means I have three more months of her kicking me any time she wants. I can't wait for her bad ass to get out of me." She was complaining but had this huge smile on her face at the same time. The peace didn't last long thanks to Toni and Christian still yelling. "They cannot be serious right now."

I watched Jay get up,struggling a little but she managed. She walked as fast as her little swollen feet would allow her,out the room. I knew she was going to say something. I wasn't going to stop her but with Christian around nothing ends well. I followed behind her into Toni's room.

"Listen I don't care what y'all talking about just be quiet. I'm sick and trying to sleep and your son is sleep as well." 

"Janet,get out this is not the time. Just mind your business." And after that I knew things would go wrong. Christian and Jay are the last people we need arguing.

"I don't care, this is not the time to be arguing it's too damn early. "

"How about you just mind your business and get the fuck out of my room!" Why Toni,I knew things would go bad from there.

When I say Janet slapped the taste out of her mouth,spit literally came out her mouth. Toni held her face for a quick second then went in for the kill. She charged Jay,slamming her into the wall. Now as bad as I wanted to watch I had to remember that Jay is six months pregnant and Amaru will kill all of us if something happened to her and the baby. I attempted to brake them apart with no help from Christian. I got pushed to the ground. They were still going. Janet pushed toni so hard she landed straight on her back in the hallway. I guess Janet thought that was the end of it. I got up,and looked a Christian who was very calm about the situation. I went on the hall as they kept arguing. They were by the edge of the stairs,ready to jump down each other's throats.Christian finally decided to intervene because they were about to start fighting again. I grabbed Toni and Christian grabbed Jay. She was too riled up for him.

"Get the fuck off me Christian!" She pushed his arms off of her.

"Not until you calm the fuck down." He pushed her back. He used a little too much force.

Everything happened so fast,Jay lost her balance and tried her best to grabbed something but it was too late. She was already falling down the steps. My mind was telling me to do something but I couldn't physically move. Watching her hit the steps,while she screamed in pain was traumatizing.  

I ran down the steps as quickly as i could,she was crying hysterically,and she must've bumped her head. There was a good amount of blood. I got on my knees holding her head up. I could see her consciousness fading. Toni and Christian stood at the top of the stairs clueless and shook.

"Why are y'all just standing there,call a fucking ambulance!"  I looked down at Jay who was now unconscious. Tears began to cloud my vision. "Come on baby girl,stay with me."

I was trying my best to get her to wake back up. It was too overwhelming for me.

"Jay,please stay with me. You can't leave me,your baby needs you,Amaru needs you,I need you. You're my best friend."  I kept tapping her cheek and she wouldn't wake up. She was still breathing but she wouldn't wake up. All I could see was my tears dropping down on her face.
