Chapter 24-Boring

Janet

Today has not been a good day so far. I'm alone in this house and I'm sick. Lisa has not come back,when she left Toni's house last weekend she went to go talk to her mother. I guess they are working things out. My dad should be home before the night ends,I really need to talk to him anyway. Amaru is in school so I don't want to bother him but I haven't talked to him since last night.I miss my baby, I've grown this attachment to him and it doesn't feel right when I'm not with him. I want to be in his arms all the time, I don't care how annoying I am or how clingy I look,he made me like this anyway.

No One's POV

Devante pull up to Janet's house. He grabbed the food he brought her and got out walking to her door. Her dad always left a spare key on top of the ledge of the door,he grabbed it and opened the door. She wasn't expecting him but they been texting all morning and once she told him that she was sick he took it upon himself to leave School and come take care of her. He damn near sprinted up the stairs to Janet's door and knocked four times fast. He
didn't care to wait for her to answer her just wanted to let her know he was coming in. He went in and saw her on the bed sleep. He couldn't help but to admire her beauty and all the feelings he tired so hard to bury were coming back.

"Yo,Jay wake up" he kneeled down a little just to be eye level with her. He lightly shook her but she just stirred in her sleep. He let his hormones control his actions and he placed small little pecks all over her face. She just stirred a little more this time slowly opening her eyes. When she noticed who was kissing her face her eyes shot open and she sat up really quick.

"Devante what are you doing?" She rubbed her face.

"Chill Jay, I just wanted to bring you some soup make you feel a little better, you was sleep so I had to find a way to wake you." 

She didn't really care about him bringing her food, that wasn't an excuse for his lips to be on her.

"Thanks, but you next time let me know you're coming."  He was thrown off by the attitude she was giving.

"What's the attitude for? I came here being a good friend,I didn't have to do this."

"I didn't ask you to either. How do you expect me to react when I wake up to you kissing on me? If you can't control yourself and not act on your feelings then don't come around me."

She went on but he constant rambling just made him more annoyed. He only knew one way to shut her up. Her words were quickly silenced by his mouth. This was not something she wanted and it pissed her off that he wasn't respecting her. She pushed herself away from him and her first instinct was to slap him.

"What did I just say Devonte! Why the fuck would you do that?" 

He was still trying to grasp the fact the she slapped him. In his mind he saw nothing wrong with what he did. It wasn't that big of a deal, it's not like he tried to have sex with her he just kissed her so for her to slap him was out of line.

He put his hands up in defeat, he decided to just avoid the big blow up he saw about to happen. "You know what I'm gonna leave, maybe I'll talk to you later but right now you tripping." 

Jay watched him leave as she gathered her thoughts. Her attention turned to her phone that was ringing, of course it was the main person she wanted to hear from, Amaru.

"Wassup fatty, I know you tried to call earlier but I was in class. You ok,do you need anything?"

"I'm fine babe,I'm just home alone and I wanted to talk to somebody. How's your day going?"  She didn't really want to worry him but at this the baby was kicking and it wasn't helping her .
