Third's POV:

Others were already sitting in the breakfast table when Hailey cropped up from her room to there. "Hi, sleepy head!" Derek teased her sister and got that annoyed glare back which was too familiar to him.

Hailey took a one toast and spread some jam over it before she joined with others in the table.

"So what's up?" her mom asked which made all people around her just roll their eyes. "Mom, don't!" Hailey warned her and raised her hand. "What? Can't your own mom ask how's everything going?"

"No, I didn't mean that but please try be normal okay. You're not young anymore so you could use words like that" her daughter gave her a long speech and a long silence landed in the kitchen. "Okay, whatever then. I'm going in the night shift tonight so I just wanted spend a little time with my favorites but seemly I'm too old to your company" she sighed and took her empty tea mug and brought it on the sink table.

Now they all felt bad and one by one Joslyn's kids came to give their mom and apologize. "Sorry, mom. I didn't mean to. You're not really that old" Hailey whispered and Derek joined in the hug with them. "Yeah, mom is looking like a she would still be still 20-years-old" he added and made Joslyn laugh.

"Come on, now this is going too far already" she chuckled and let go off her kids. Benjamin was still hugging her however and smiling at her. "I love you, mom" he told and made Joslyn smile. "I love you too, little bear" she picked up her son on her arms and kept him there like a little baby.

"Does little Benjamin that mom sing him a song?" she asked and it made Hailey and Derek burst in laughter. "Mom, stop!" Benjamin moaned and escaped his mom grip. "Okay okay, I think that's enough for today. Whose turn is wash dishes today?"

Hailey's ja Benjamin's gazes turned over Derek. "No, it's Hailey's turn today. My turn was yesterday plus I'm not officially even living here anymore so.. " he said and all of sudden gazes were turned over Hailey. "Fuck you all!" she hissed and made her mom give a glare over her.

"Young lady watch out what are you talking in front of your little brother!" she warned and pointed her over the sink table do what she have to do. She mumbled under her breath sorry before she sank her hands in warm, soapy water.

Hailey's POV:

I hated household chores. I hated Derek who found always way to get out of them I'm not officially even living here, why are you here then I thought but after those words came out of my mouth I decided keep them. It wasn't good time to get in fight.

Soapy water tickled my fingers and made them so wrinkled, like I would have turned to be our grandma who had spent her last two years in the hospital before she passed away. I was 16-years-old when that happened. Nightmares of that day disturbed me still sometimes and made me startle up from the sleep.

I rinsed all dishes and out them in the cupboard. "Ready!" I told and walked in my room without waiting thank yous. I made my bed and changed my clothes before I walked back to the living room where others were watching tv.

"And no parties, I don't wanna come back home where is only ruins left" mom reminded while she was getting ready to leave to the work. I groaned because we were already planned one with Charlotte and a few other friends of mine and hers. Not anything big but still. However I nodded back and we said byes to mom before she left.

I turned around and saw my brothers playing with their phones. I rolled my eyes before I heard Derek calling my name. "Hey, sis! I'm going to meet Greg" he said and didn't leave me any time to complain because he already knew that I would do so. The front door slammed close before I could say even a word 'cat'
