Chapter 12
Raven’s P.O.V.

“SHUT UP!” Jenni yelled her voice full anger.
Jumping off the bench Jennifer; my best friend, my reason to exist, ran away from me.

Where is she? I thought helplessly as I searched the campus. I sniffed the air but found no traces of Jennifer, it was like when we played hide and go seek; her sent always happened to vanish.
I knew I should ask Kevin for help but this was my mistake. Plus if he ended up finding her before I did he would use that as an excuse to draw her farther from me and closer to him. I could never let that happen.
“Shouldn’t you be in class?” a passing teacher asked.
His obscene thoughts poured out from his head.
I have no time to waste. I thought to myself as I walked right up to him. Placing my hand on his cheek I commanded, “Walk away. Rob a bank while you’re at it but leave me alone.”
The man’s eyes rolled to the back of his head as his body began to shake. I released his cheek and began to walk out of the building. Looking up to the sky I sighed as the heavy blanket of clouds rolled in and couldn’t help but wonder if Jennifer was okay.
