Good morning. ❤️
This is just a calm part, getting Tyler a bit closer to Craig. Enjoy ^.^

(Tyler POV)
I was nervously tapping with my fingers on the table, trying to stay awake. I was expecting the call from Delirious but it wasn't coming. I looked at the watch to see 7 am.

Maybe he just fucking fell asleep. He had to be tired from that shitty mission, right? But what if not? He always calls me after the target is down. Fuck!

"Eric? Why are you up so early?"

I raised my sight to meet Craig. He looked so adorable when he was still half asleep. I silently growled, rubbing my face. I was so frustrated about my own behaving, about my own feelings.

"Nothing that should be fucking bothering you. Go back to sleep, baby boy," I said to him.

"I can't sleep when you're not around... I-I had a nightmare. And I miss my best friend," he whispered the last sentence, and wave of guilt flowed through my body.

I stretched my hand to him, let him sit on my own lap while I was rubbing his back to calm him down.

"I'm here, ok? I'll always be here," I whispered to him, kissing him on the cheek.

At least until you die in a week.

"Is it better?" I asked silently, and he put his head on my shoulder.

"Much better."

Maybe I could take him out. He's going to die anyway, so why not enjoy some moment with him, get him what he deserves. Delirious won't know about this, just one quick date.

"My boss is out of the city so I have some free time. You want to do something?" I asked him, playing with his fingers.

"Like what?" He asked, raising his eyes to meet mines.

"It's a surprise. Just go dress yourself, we're going out."

His eyes widened, his lips curled into an excited smile.

"Out?"

It was a truth that we spent this whole time locked in my house, and it was only me who was walking outside. But I never said he couldn't have walked away, I didn't hide the keys.

"Out," I repeated slightly robotically, checking the phone one more time.

I heard his footsteps on the floor as he fast walked back to our bedroom. I called Delirious one more time, just to receive the same result. So I left him yet another message. I was pissed and at the same time worried.

T: You motherfucker! I hope you have really good excuse for this, I haven't closed my eyes, waiting for your call.

We can drive by his house. I'll just check if his car is there, and if not then I'm gonna freak the fuck out.

I stood up, giving myself a few seconds to stop the spinning world, and then walked to the bedroom. Seeing half naked Craig I slowly leaned against the door frame, enjoying my view. He was silently humming some song, moving his hips from side to side, while struggling with the shirt.

He jumped in surprise when he turned around and saw me, quickly covering his naked upper body, which made my lips curled into a smirk.

"You're like a ghost! I h-haven't heard you walk in. How long have you been standing there?" He asked me with shaky voice.

I did a few steps towards him, taking the shirt into my own hands. With one movement I tossed it behind me, taking his wrist to prevent his resistance. He was like a sculpture, his eyes locked into to my, waiting for my next move.

"You're so handsome, you know that?" I asked in whisper, seeing his blush slowly creeping into his cheeks.

He took a deep breath to answer me, but I quickly pulled away. I wanted to take him out and I knew that spending more seconds like that would lead to the bed. And I needed to check upon Delirious first.

"Dress up, baby boy. I'll wait in the car."

I spotted some uncertainty for a few seconds in his eyes before he smiled again.

"Sure," he replied.

I grabbed the jacket, my phone, and on the way to my car I called Delirious once again.

You fucking piece of shit, just pick it up!

Craig joined me in a few seconds, and I smiled seeing he gave himself some time to look good. Not that he needed that. I started the engine and drove directly to Delirious' house. As we were passing by his house I spotted his car parked on the other side of the way, which he always used to do.

So he's home! Why isn't he fucking answering then? He's asleep, surely. Killing Ryan had to be tough even for him. Or he destroyed the SIM card already. That could be it, right? So I can stop fucking worrying and enjoy my free day with Craig.

I glanced over him, which made my heart race. He was looking directly in front of him, hands in his lap like a good innocent boy he were.

"I hope you ate. We're heading to Abalone Cove Shoreline Park," I informed him with a small smile, paying attention to the road ahead of us.

"I'll go even to the end of the world with you," he replied shyly.

No, baby. You're dying in one fucking week. And I need to stop thinking about you. I'll make this day an exception, this day I'm gonna fulfill everything I'll see in your eyes. Just for this fucking day.
