(Vanoss POV)
I carefully watched Jack sitting in the corner of the room, his back facing me, his face pointing directly into the wall. He was scary, mumbling something, his body slowly rocking. Maybe he end up familiar like me, maybe he was used by Mark.

"J-jack?" I stuttered nervously.

I heard a silent giggle from him, but that was all. After Mark left us with that agent, Jack escorted me into my room. First moments he was pacing from one corner to another, ignoring my attempts to talk, but after a while he sat down into the position he was right now.

And they say Delirious is the crazy one.

"Jack?" I tried again.

"Jack's not here."

The voice which came wasn't the one I remember. It was changing the tone during the sentence, it was terrifying. I instinctively hugged myself, telling myself I just overheard all of this due to my tiredness and stress level.
I jumped in surprise when the door opened, revealing Mark's annoyed expression.

"Sorry this took me longer then I wanted. I have a few questions for you," he said to me, completely ignoring the fact that Jack was in the room with us.

"Uhm... Mark... your friend went crazy," I whispered nervously, looking at Jack.

"This wreck? Oh it's nothing... he's just like a dog. He barf, but don't bite."

I watched as Mark walked towards the Jack, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt. Jack yelped, trying to get away from Mark.

"Let me go!" His voice still changing tones, and it was freaky.

"Shut up," Mark mumbled, dragging him out of the room.

"I'm gonna do it! I'll kill him, I'll kill him!" Jack yelled, and right then Mark shut the door.

"See? Like a dog. Now where were-" Mark was cut off by Jack's voice again.

"Why can't ya love me, Dark?"

Huh?

"Ignore him. Tell me Evan... how did you do that?" Mark didn't give me any chance to process things I just witnessed.

"What are you talking about?" I replied.

"You managed to cut off the camera system, there's no track about you. You killed every single person in there, you didn't even let that pregnant women alive. You acted so cold hearted, but when I'm talking to you, all I see is a nervous person. How did you do that then?"

I was surprised by Mark's speech, feeling uncomfortable all of the sudden. I wasn't quite sure what happened there exactly. The only thing I knew was that I had more luck then I deserved.

He killed every person? What?! Fucking hell I'm really lucky. What would have happened if he picked somebody else and not me? I would have been dead.

"I'm gonna take the answers to my grave. This is exactly why am I the best," I replied, feeling immediately higher then Mark.

"Suit yourself, I have the last task for you."

My body shivered, and I tried so hard not to let it know. I felt nervous all of the sudden.

First was stealing, second was robbery, what's the third one then?

"I'm giving you a target to kill. Here," he said, handing me the papers.

Kill? Kill?

I looked at it. There was a picture of some man in his fifties, next to the picture of him I saw name.

Greg Oswaldski. Don't know who that is.

"You have few hours to prepare. I want to see what you're capable of, if you're truly Delirious you can kill him."

With that Mark left me with those papers. I looked down, trying to calm my mind. I still heard gun shots from the bank robbery, I still saw that poor women with bullet in her head. I wasn't certain, nor did I had any courage, if I could do this.

Greg Oswaldski. CEO of the FBI? Are you kidding me? No! No, this can't be. I can't kill him, he's going to be protected. And why him? There's not a way for me to get it done, this is impossible.

I started to read through the info, and even though everything written there was complete chaos, I started to create some plan. What I wanted to do was insane, yes, but there was no other option for me. I decided to strike at night, hopefully undetected. Kill him before anybody is going to predict that.

"You ready?" Mark's voice reminded me what had to come.

"Sure," I replied, even though it was a complete lie.

"What weapons do you need? I'm gonna go get them."

Shit. What can I say? I've never held a gun before.

"Just some regular."

Clever.

I followed him out of the room, through the halls, downstairs, then to the car. It was at that time I noticed Mark was slightly limping. I tried to recall if he was doing that a few hours ago but unsuccessfully. This time there was no Jack waiting in. Mark opened door and I got in. He joined me in driver seat in a few seconds.

"Where's Jack?" I asked, frowning.

"Busy."

I decided it was best not to ask anything more. He seemed angry already. We arrived to destination within ten minutes. That ride was the fastest of all, even though I wanted to postpone it.

"I have to go now, I believe you'll be able to kill him. Here," he started and handed me a walkie-talkie and some gun.

"Talk to me once you kill him, I'll pick you up."

I watched him leave, darkness became the only friend by that time. I stood a few meters of small villa, looking around. I tried to gather as much courage as I had in me. This was my last day on the Earth, last minutes of life. There was no way I could get away alive from this, there truly wasn't. I hadn't held gun in my life, I hadn't killed somebody.

Everybody has to die at one point.

And I did a step forward.
