(Nogla POV)
My door smashed open and I saw Mark barging into my office. I looked at him, really not interested what he wanted to tell me.

"Have you talked with Lui?" he asked, anger written in his eyes.

I sighed, shrugging my shoulders. After I found Lui again, I stopped worrying about anything. The only important thing for me was Lui and I had him.

"I have. Depends on what are you pointing at exactly," I said, turning myself back to my PC.

"They killed Luke."

"What? Who's Luke?" I asked, turning back to him.

"One of us. I wish this was just between us, maybe he was killed by some of our rivals. I'll send Jack with you. Investigate it, bring back the samples and get me the name of the killer," he commanded, and I slowly nodded.

"Sure," I said, standing up.

But first I'm gonna call Lui. I don't trust you.

Mark walked away, while I pulled out my phone and called Lui.

"Hey, babe. How are you?" He greeted me, and I could hear him smiling.

"Miss you already. Lui, you know anything about some Luke? Mark just ordered me to investigate Luke's death. He said it was one of your people, but I don't trust this guy. So is it true?" I asked, leaning against the wall with the great view at the hallway.

"Yeah, it's true. He was the one who brought Delirious," Lui replied.

"You mean that day when Delirious died?" I guessed, sighing loudly.

"Yes. By the way, I hope you're available at weekend. I prepared some surprise for you," Lui said enthusiastically.

"I'm looking forward. Sorry, I have to go now," I said quickly, when I saw Mark and Jack coming through the hallway towards my office.

"Love you," he said, before I turned the phone call off.

I pushed myself off the wall, grabbing my belongings. When I turned around both Mark and Jack were standing in the door.

"I'm ready," I mumbled, really not pleased I had to leave the warmness of the room.

We silently walked through the hallway, ending up in the Jack's car. Even the ride was silent. This was actually the first time I had the opportunity to be with Jack alone without Mark hanging around. And I wasn't sure how to feel about that. Something about the other Irishman was off, something dark and unexplainable.

The car stopped in front of some building. To my surprise there weren't any police officers, not even the tapes, the street was empty. We walked towards the house, the door wasn't even locked.

"Why isn't this place secured?" I asked, when I saw a body.

A man was sitting on the sofa, tied to it. He had a wound right in his head, blood on the wall and on the ground. I knew he was shot in the close distance. What I was guessing was, the man was interrogated, maybe tortured.

"Mark doesn't want anybody to snitch around. The less media and people around, the better," Jack replied.

"You stay there, I'll take a few things," I commanded, fully focused.

"What are ya to Mark? A partner?" Jack asked, like this was a friend meeting.

He surely doesn't care about the dead man in front of us.

"He's my boss," I answered, walking closer to the body.

I wanted to find just a small sign, that would lead me to the murderer. If somebody killed one of Lui's people, there's no certainty that he isn't going for Lui. And that wasn't an option for me.

"Really? Ya like him? Like a boss, I mean," he continued, not really good in hiding the suspicious.

I glanced at him, waiting a few more seconds before I decided to answer him. He seemed to be protective over Mark, the similar way I was protective over Lui. Or Evan over Delirious.

My heart skipped a beat and I looked at the dead man. I realized a one thing I was so blind to see that time.

Evan loved Delirious! That's why he didn't want to write any statement down, that's why he asked me to drop off the investigation. How? How could he fell in love with someone so cruel and heartless. I can't imagine how he must feel right now. Now, when Delirious is dead.

"I have other man in my life, fella. Ya can relax," I answered him, looking for the bullet.

"I wasn't asking ya in that matter. I was just curious," he mumbled.

Sure.

We didn't spend much time in that apartment. I found the bullet, which was our only lead. I wanted to get it to Gustavo, but I knew this was like a private investigation, so I had to do it myself. Jack left me right after we walked into the FBI building and I didn't mind.

After inspecting what type of bullet it was, I tracked down the owner of the gun. The name, so many times spoken up, so many times connected to my investigations. It was the same song again. And this time I was determined to drag his ass to the interrogation.

Tyler.
