Part 41 - Proper kiss

Sorry for a small delay, I just woke up 😂. I'm not sure if I'm 100% happy with this part but I have to suck it up. Enjoy ^.^

(Nogla POV)
I watch him with fear filled in my body. I was so dumb. I didn't know why I let him taunt me to the point I shouted the truth at him. He was looking at me, and even though I was afraid of what he could say or do, his face was like a book. His emotions were switching from one to another so quickly.

I needed some fresh air, I didn't want to hear his response, I wanted to hide and never come out. I grabbed leashes, silently heading for a walk with my dogs.

"Where are you going?" He shouted, running towards me.

I locked the door behind us and headed to the park.

"Out, there's not much we can discuss anymore," I replied shamefully.

"That's enough! Enough of you avoiding your problems. So you love me, huh?"

Why is he asking me this? Why is this happening to me? Fuckin' hell.

"Yes."

"How long are you keeping this to yourself?" He asked again, curiosity sparkling in his eyes.

"From the first day I was moved to be yer partner," I whispered, nervously gripping the leashes tighter.

"Why didn't you say anything?"

"Why? You were always thinkin' about Delirious. I asked ya out so many times but ya always rejected me, so I gave up on that."

I was looking anywhere else but him. The silence was hitting me hard, it was so unpleasant. I wanted to rewind the time, I wanted to slap myself for easily lost my temper sometimes.

"I've always thought we're just partners, Nogla. That your invitation out is just distraction from Delirious. But... I mean... you can ask me out anytime you want."

I felt his hand touching my wrist, stopping my movement. I looked down then went up to meet his eyes. Suddenly I felt butterflies in my stomach, while my heart wanted to jump out of my chest.

"Y-ya mean it?" I stuttered in whisper, being uncertain of this whole situation.

"I'm not saying I will be the best choice for you. Honestly I haven't been out with anybody for four years, but we-I can try."

I felt like I was dreaming once again. A few minutes later I would have woken up in my bed, most likely crying how sweet this moment was. But even if this was truly just a dream I wanted to enjoy it with every part of myself.

"That... that would be awesome," I slowly smiled at him, regaining some courage.

"This is getting a bit weird. But answer me one more question. What about that guy in your house? You're not together? I mean... I don't want to break anybody's relationship."

Guy in my house? What?

"What guy?" I asked confused.

"Well that one in your room, complaining about the coldness," he replied, and I caught a silent tone of jealousy.

Evan!

"That... that was my friend I was supposed to protect from that bully," I explained.

I noticed how he tried to figure out who that friend and bully are, but at that moment my dogs lost interest in running around us and started to demand Lui's attention, which made me laugh. As he let go of my wrist, and started to play with them, I felt so sad. I wanted to feel his touch much longer.

"I think we should head back. It's getting cold and I need to feed them," I informed him.

He looked up at me with wide smile, which I hadn't seen in a long time, considering he was locked in his office or house all the time.

I started to walk home, when he touched my hand which made me me stop moving again.

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked with a grin.

I hadn't seen him this happy for a long time, and it made my heart went crazy.

"H-home?" I replied uncertain.

"Without a proper kiss?"

I blinked a several time, and before I could reply I just watched as he was getting closer to me. And I felt so good. Taking his both hands into my, I filled the gap between us and pressed my lips on his.

It felt so good, so right. My butterflies woken up immediately, while my world started to spin around. Everything was better then in my dreams, it felt so real. He wrapped his hands around my neck, licked my bottom lip and I let him in. It was like I was imagined it would be. And finally after four long years I felt complete.

This amazing moment was once again interrupted by my jealous dogs. Lui pulled away and took Tony into his embrace. I tried to calm my heart and my body down.

"I'll help you with your dogs," he informed me with a smile.

"W-would you like to g-go out with me after that?" I asked him silently and quickly.

"I would love to."

If this is truly a dream, please don't wake me up.
