Misty and I were outside of her friend's building getting ready to leave. Misty looked up into my eyes with a half smile.
"So uh, Delia?" She asked awkwardly
"Mhm?"
"C-Can we get back together?" I was really surprised by this, but I realized, this is what i've wanted for the longest time.
She looked at me with hopeful eyes and a half smile. How could I say no to this?
I smiled and nodded. "Misty, of course we can." I couldn't say anything else, but it was enough. She cupped my face with her warm hands and kissed me. She pulled back and stared into my eyes with complete love and compassion.
"We?" She asked, "We. Always forever."
