(Bryce's POV)

"Alright Bryce, remember, if at anytime you need to stop, let us know." Ohm said as we walked across the campus. I nodded, not wanting to speak right now. I appreciated that the guys wanted to help, but I wasn't sure if I was ready. If anything I just wanted to find out what those figures were and if there was any way that I could fix whatever was wrong with me.

I could feel myself begin to slow down as we approached the entrance to the forest. Ohm could see it too and frowned.

"Bryce, are you sure you want to do this? We don't have to start today if you don't want." Ohm said, concern written in his voice. I gave him a small smile. I was grateful that Ohm was trying to help me feel better. I found it sweet.

"Thanks Ohm, but I may as well. It's now or never I guess. Plus, people are going to start finding out soon, and I don't want them finding out my fear along with it." I said. Ohm gave me a small smile before continuing on. I stepped hesitantly into the opening of the forest, instantly shuddering. Ohm noticed, and not so slyly slipped his arm around my back in some sort of side hug. He let his hand rest on my side just above my hip, and my face went red. He let out a small half grin and kept walking. In all honesty, having Ohm next to me did help slightly, but I still had the strange feeling that someone was watching me.

Eventually we found ourselves in the clearing where the lake was. The same pile of jagged rocks still sat to the right of the lake, and I stared at it with what almost seemed like disgust. Ohm led me over to the others, who were sitting on the edge of the lake. About twenty feet from the water I stopped, refusing to go any further. I realized that Ohm had removed his arm before we had entered the clearing, which made me...sad?

"Alright Bryce, let's get started." Del said. I took a deep breath and nodded.

"So today we are going to be focusing on helping you learn to control your fear, rather than letting it control you. Or at least, that's the game plan. Now to start with, we're going to have you do as much as you can with water. Lifting it, changing its shape, whatever you think you may be able to handle. If it gets to be too much, tell us okay?" I gave a slight nod, steeling myself.

"Good. We are going to start with water. Now, close your eyes and calm your mind. This is all about learning to control the water, rather than being scared. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, trying to rid myself of my thoughts.

"Good. Now, I want you to think about moving the water, start by raising it a few inches. You need to envision it happening, as though you are a part of it as well." My breathing quickened slightly at the mention of moving it, but I did my best to push it aside. I focused as much as possible on moving the water, as though I were pulling it with a string. I heard murmurs from the guys, which resulted in me opening my eyes to look. Big mistake. The first thing I saw was a small section of the water raised roughly six inches off the ground. It wavered slightly, and I was suddenly bombarded by thoughts of that night. I let out a small gasp and the water instantly splashed back to its original place. My hands were shaking slightly as the others turned to look at me.

"S-sorry, I guess I just freaked." I said with a frown. They smiled at me sympathetically and nodded. I had no idea how they were going to make this work. I loved them for trying, but how am I going to learn if I can't even stay calm just looking at it.

"Hey, it's alright. After all, it's not like you're going to learn immediately. These things take time; it was the same for the rest of us. So let's keep going, and we'll stop again if we have to." Mini said. I sighed and reluctantly agreed.

The rest of the time that we spent training unfortunately resulted like before. After another couple of hours, I was ready to just give up entirely. I hadn't been able to do a single thing that I had set out to do, which only discouraged me more

"Guys, I think we've all had enough, let's call it a day." Ohm spoke up. He had been watching on in silence for most of the time, and only spoke up when he seemed to realize that I was done. The others agreed, and we all began to get ready to leave.

"Hey Bryce, I'm gonna go back to Tyler's dorm for a little while, so you'll have the room to yourself for a little while, that okay?" Mini said, coming up next to me

"Of course Mini, see you later." He thanked me and ran off. As soon as he was back up with the other guys, Ohm took Mini's place next to me.

"So, I heard you're free this afternoon?" Ohm said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes, my bad mood already going away now that I had Ohm next to me.

"Yeah, yeah, come on." Ohm chuckled and gave a small victory motion. I laughed and we began to make our way out of the forest. But as I looked back, I swore I saw the silhouette of somebody by the trees. And even though I couldn't see his face, I could still understand as he said the word, 'soon.'
