It's 8am and I wake up on the floor. It takes me a while to remember that I when back in time through a breach to find out what happened to my parents. Remembering that I'm also on the floor because if Ava's injury was going to heal right she would have to sleep on the next and above me. The floor is tile and cold but I'd slept worse. Getting to my feet, I stretch out my weak muscles and I find a crack from my joints rubbing here and there. As I walk over to a mirror I hear Ava wake up. She checks her wound to see it had healed. She stretches herself out across the bed and takes her time to get. She shivers a little as she gets out from under her covers. Why is it so cold? The tile floor made my feet turn slightly purple. Ava follows me as we leave the guest bedroom and the first thing I see is Malia walking to the table, scratching her head.

"Hey, you ok?", I say to her nicely.

She scolds at me but she acknowledges the concern. "Yea, I am fine," Malia admits, "Thanks for, well...saving me." she hesitates with 'thanks' for saving her from a breacher. But, I am not the one to judge. Back in my time period, Malia saved me from things all the time, but not once did I thank her for it. I feel guilt. Then, a smell reaches my nose, a sweet, warm, sensational smell. I follow it to see Melissa cooking eggs and bacon. But I then I notice that Scott is nowhere to be found.

"Umm...Mel," I correct myself intently, "Mrs. McCall? Do you know where Scott is?" But as I try to get answers, I notice Ava in the corner of my eye, grabbing the whole plate of bacon and putting no more than 10 in her mouth. My eyes burn through her, glaring for her bad manners. She pouts as she spits out half of the things in her mouth and onto the plate. I give her my shame face and she shrugs, hiding the plate under oversized shirt that she borrowed from Scott.

"Yes. Sorry, he left early for Stiles house before their free period ended for school to start." she pauses retracing her words, " I think he needed to solve a problem with a girl stuck in a night terror. But what do I know? " Melissa humorously shrugs and continues to make more bacon. Night terrors? I remember Scott telling me a story about a girl named Tracy who was going through Night terrors and brutely killing people because she thought she was still sleeping. While Ava and I are here, then maybe there can be a way for us to help until we find a way back home.

I finish my plate of delicious food as fast as I can. Then I gesture to Ava telling her 'that we need to go'. She moans in complacency and walks with me to the guest room. I get dressed in a black long sleeve shirt with brown pants and boots. On the other hand, Ava grabs a flowered shirt and blue shorts with pull over shoes that Melissa had loaned her. Hayden actually packed me for a long journey but not Ava because we did not plan on her coming. Ava heads out the door, but on my way out I grab two knives to put in either one of my boots.

We walk to the school because we don't exactly have my car or a way of transportation. But on the way, we both point out things in the town's that different or not there yet on our own timeline.

We reach the school and there are so many kids and people that I recognize too that they look so much like their children. Slowly easing my way up the steps to the front courtyard of the school, I take in the fresh air of my high school. Ava, by this point, is flirting with boys and winking at other girls that pass. We continue through outside hallways of lockers and romancing teens that kiss  one another against walls. They remind me of Drake and how much I miss him.

"Allison," she tugs on my shirt, "there are Scott and your dad." We see both of them talking to Lydia, Kira, Liam, and I think, Liam's old friend, Mason. Ava starts them but I hold her back.

She glares at me confused but I respond seriously, "We can't start a scene," I say looking in her eyes, "Besides. What do you think people are gonna think if freshman, like us, are hanging out with seniors." I comply humorously.

"But my dad is hanging out with them, and he's a sophomore." she argues.

"A sophomore, not a freshman." I converse intently. "But hey, this can be a time when we can blend as students and follow them."

Her face enlightens at the words 'follow them' because she's really into spying or stalking people. She already does a good job of it because besides being a werewolf for a hobby, she stalks a boy, Reid, at our school.

Trying not to be noticed, Ava and I follow Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Liam, Kira, and Mason to the library where the sit at a table with a pile of books spread across the surface. Unfortunately, Ava and I don't have library cards so we wait casually to sneak in as I group of kids go in. Trying not to be noticed, we hold a book in front of our faces to hide our identity. An easy, common way to not be noticed.

Sitting three tables away from them, I speak up to Ava quietly, "Can you listen in?"

"Sure." she implies whispering. I wait a few minutes for her to process a sentence or two from them till reveals, "There talking about, " she pauses to look at me shaking, "Chimeras."
