"One who had become evil, but is not evil itself." Braeden read off the podium while she in the arms of Derek.

This took a while because everyone tried to give it a thought. But after those moments, Mason started for the podium without a word. We all wore confused expressions as he stepped onto the podium which lit red. The room, like the two times before, lit red.

The room morphs into a narrow underground hallway. Barely any light and the ground flooded with water. Before us stood Sebastien, the Beast of Gevaudan. On the flooded floor beneath him was Scott with cuts and bruises all over his face. Then across the hallway was a dent in the wall and Liam aching on the ground. We watched as Sebastien picked up Scott by the throat and pinned him against the wall.

"Let me show you how to go for the throat." Sebastien taunted while tightening his grip on Scott's neck.

Scott groaned as Liam got up to his feet behind Sebastien. He grabs a spear with a hammer at the end and grips it hard, ready to throw it at Sebastien.

"Liam, wait," Scott insisted with a slight faint in his words to him being choked, "We can still save Mason."

"Who's going to save you?" Liam questions as he pulls back his arm to swing at Sebastien.

"What kind of werewolves are you?" Sebastien taunts.

Liam's face burns red as he charges at Sebastien.

"No!" Scott pleads.

As Liam attempts to stab Sebastien, Sebastien bats the spear out of Liam's hand, sending the spear to the entrance of the narrow hallway. He laughs sinisterly and throws Liam back against the wall creating a second impact in the crumbling wall. Liam slams against the floor and moans himself to get back up. In this lost time, Sebastien sinks his claws into Scott's neck to reveal his memories.

"Marie-Jeanne?" Sebastien says moments later, shocked and wide eyed.

In this brief, vulnerable moment, Scott swats Sebastien grip on his neck and tumbles to the floor. In the opening of the narrow hallway, Kira, and my mother enter.

"Mason!" Lydia yells.

Sebastien turns around to meet her gaze.

"I think you're gonna need to try it a little louder," Kira reassures.

Sebastien then starts for the two with a smirk while transforming into the Beast of Gevaudan. I watch as my mother takes in a deep breath and lets out an enormously loud scream.

"MASON!"

Her voice shatters the beast into a poof of smoke. As the smoke deteriorates, Mason emerges from it, stumbling over himself. Unknowingly, Corey appears from being camouflaged and catches Mason before he hits the ground. They all let out a sigh of relief.

Suddenly, the room morphs back to normal and Mason is gone from the podium. He passed. Minutes later he reappears with Corey. With both of them kissing one another. After their reunion with one another, they step off and join the others.

"One who bears the mark of a demon." Braeden reads.

Braeden instantly raises her hand and smiles while gesturing to the slash she has across her neck from Deucalion, the demon wolf. Leaving, Derek's arms she steps onto the podium. It lights up and the room morphs into the Beacon Hills Highschool Boy's locker room mid-day. We watch as young Braeden comes running into the room. She grabs a broomstick and snaps it in half. To use as a weapon against something. She runs and hides behind a column of lockers as something else enters the room. Three adults who look like they're going to try and kill her. Suddenly then I notice who the three are. Kali, Ennis, and Deucalion. Braeden obvious breathing heavily as she grips hard on the stick. When she hears them come closer, she pops out, ready to fight.

Ennis grabs her and throws her against a wall, then Kali kicks her across the face with her clawed feet causing her to spit out blood. Once Ennis and Kali have had their revenge, Deucalion calls them off. They both step aside as Deucalion approaches vulnerable Braeden leaning on the lockers and bleeding out.

"Beautiful," Deucalion states, "But defiant, aren't you?"

"Because I know something," Braeden admits, "I know you're afraid of him."

"Of a teenage boy?" Deucalion laughs.

"Of the man, he'll become." Braeden snaps and spits blood at Deucalion.

"I'm aware of a certain potential threat," Deucalion taunts, "But then someone once taught me a very smart way to eliminate the threat, get someone else to do it for you."

"Derek." Braeden realizes.

Deucalion then smiles and growls. He pulls out his claws and slashes at Braeden's face. Leaving a permanent mark of a demon.

The room then dims back to pearl white, and Braeden disappears. She later returns in a flash with Jordan. They both step off the podium. Just Liam, Hayden, and my parents left.

Braeden squints at the newly formed message reading, "One who's performed a great selfless act."

That could be anyone I thought. But they must be talking about someone specific. But who? We all stood before the podium in cluelessness as we all thought hard and long about this description. One who's performed a selfless act.

"Allison," Ava spoke out, "freshman year when we went through the breach to the night your parents were taken, you chose to let destiny play out instead of changing the timeline to get your parents back."

I blushed and sighed, "I don't know Ava."

"Allison," she said as she walked over to me and put the hand on my shoulder, "Trust me."

I nodded to show my respect and trust I have for her. Then starting for the podium stepped on and a red barrier around glowing red. Out of curiosity, I touched the barrier to see it spark against my hands. I watched as the room morphed into a forest.

Suddenly we here crashing leaves as Ava and me as freshmen run through the tree following a scream. I watch as my other self-attempts to move from the behind the tree but is suddenly stopped by Ava. She signals me 'no'. My mother continues to beg for my mother's life.

"Please," Lydia begs, "Stop! You are going to kill him." she says this as my father continues to scream with pain.

The demon chooses to ignore her wishes. Suddenly I hear an alpha roar. Scott. He emerges from the shadows and pulls out his claws.

"Please," Lydia says putting up a hand to stop Scott from making any moves against the demon who has his own claws aimed at my father's chest. "Take us instead," she says attracting the demon's attention. "Please, take us instead, instead of our daughter." my mother, Lydia repeats.

The demon seems to consider this because he let's go of my father's wrist. My father is violently dropped to my mother's knees, unconscious. Lydia's crying with Stiles in her arms, she attempts to put pressure on the wound.

Scott wants to attack but he knows that he will only endanger my life and my parents live. Before my parents vanish through a breach my mom yells, "Protect her."

Scott nods and watched them disappear. Once they are completely gone, he goes for my younger, younger self.

It's weird. Seeing yourself cry over a selfless of selfish decision you have to make. But like the podium said. I chose right. I went with Ava back through the breach, back home. That was the night I had a chance to save my parents. But I didn't take it.

I notice everyone is still watching the memory as the red barrier closes in on me. Passing right through me, I am transported to somewhere else.

Back to hell once again.
