"Gobble, gobble," Noah sounded in Ava's face.
I could already see her face turn a bright red. Noah just got a turkey in bowling and heading towards the lead. Ava growls under her breath and sends a shiver down his spine. Drake and I sit on a couch waiting for our turn to bowl. Sitting on his lap, I tap my finger horrendously for my turn. Noah, Ava, Drake, and I are having a double date at Beacon Hills Lanes. We decided to go before we had to go to the Senior Scribe tonight at midnight.
I feel the urge to peck Drake on the cheek but he beats me to it. Expecting a little peck, I am greeted with a long kiss. Holding my breath, I hear a giggle come from next to us. We break off to see Noah and Ava staring at us awkwardly.
"What?" I irritatedly question while blushing.
"Dunno, something's off here," Noah says while being serious for once, "Oh wait that's just me spontaneously passing you for the lead."
I burst up to my feet from Drake's lap and throw my hands into the air.
"What!" I say confused.
I swear I was beating him by 20. I look over to the score and just like he said. Beating me and in the lead. Then the screen switches to my turn. I dart to the air vent next to the bowling balls and rub my hands through it. It's a lucky thing I do. I turn towards the bowling balls and pick up a 14 pounder. While approaching the lane, I curl my hand up to my chest with the ball. Glancing back at Noah, I see him smirk evilly. Rolling my eyes, I step towards the lane. Taking a deep breath, I dart. Then releasing the ball and sending it. It glides across the slippery surface smoothly, right down the line. My heart jump when I see it hit the middle pin. The middle pin then hits the others.
Strike.
My eyes dart up at the scoreboard and I am in the lead. My rightful place. Proud of myself, I stroke my fingers through my thick layered pixie cut hair. I smirk in delight at Noah. I watch as he nervously bites his lower hip. Ava steps up for her turn and smacks Noah straight across the head.
Just seeing that smirk wiped clean off his face, is giving me the best birthday present I could ever have. I walked and sat next to Drake, who laid back on the couch with his head being propped up by his arms.
"Happy Birthday," I heard Drake whisper into my ear.
I blushed. It broke when I heard Noah trying to distract Ava from getting a spare. Her long light brown hair tied up into a ponytail. She irritatedly blows her long bangs out of her view. She flares her nostrils. She throws the ball and it does a splitter. Two pins on opposite sides.
Whipping her head around to gloat at Noah. His mouth hangs wide open. She giggles as she tauntingly whips her ponytail into his face.

Midnight. I am officially 19 years. Drake's car pulls up to the curb and so do other new senior's cars. We all pour out of the car.
"Where's Reid?" Ava asks.
Drake looks at his phone while his other arm hangs around my shoulders.
"Said he's already waiting inside."
Ever since Reid's soul was healed, he's changed. And developed the old feelings he had for Ava. It takes a while, but we've learned to adjust to his change. He's been trying his best to be a part of the pack and help track his father down. It's actually been nice to have a demon hybrid on our side. We learned that his mother was human. And he wasn't a pure demon like his father and the rest of his followers. Although, Drake doesn't fully trust him yet and nor do I. But there is some good he's brought us. With his demon powers, we might stand a chance one day against Deasius.
Approaching the front doors of the administration office, we follow the hallway down to the library. Where entering seniors crowd the doorway. We watch as the Reid emerges from the crowd, pushing and setting aside people.
"Hey," Reid greets us with a weary smile, "So, umm. The line for the scribe is growing and I don't know about you guys. But, I plan to put my initials in a noticeable spot."
And with these words, we all find ourselves instantly hurry over to the edge of the staircase, where the line starts. Minutes pass by and we all grow more and more anxious.
Finally, at the point where we can pick up a sharpie pen on a desk with old textbooks on it. Ava scurries in front of us and rights down her initials first. Her pale arms rests of the book shelf and she hurries to write. Noah's next and write's his as close as he can to Ava's. Out of Reid's curiosity, he does the same as Noah does. However, when Drake is handed a pen from Reid, he makes a space of his own from Ava, Reid, and Noah's love triangle. I hear Drake press hard due to the squeaks the brand new pen makes. Moment's later, he hands the warm pen and I cautiously walk over to the bookshelf. I find, Ava, Drake, Noah, and Reid circle a distance around. Waiting for me to finish.
I stare a the shelf and look at the initials to see if a recognize any of them. Not far from where our initials sit, I see an MH, CB, LD, and HR. Mason, Corey, and Ava's parents. Then I look on the shelf above ours and see an SM, KY, MT, LM, MS, and AA. Scott, Kira, Malia, my parents, and Allison. Scott must've put Allison Argent's initials down out of remembrance.
Then I turn my attention back to our initials. With the sharpie, I write 'AS', next to AD, NH, RY, and DT.
Whipping my head around I follow Reid, Ava, Drake, and Noah. Heading down the stairs and passing waiting students.
We are finally seniors.
