As we follow Morrell down to the basement complex of the buildng, I start hear the screams of mental patients. Reaching a hallway, my eyes can't help wonder into every window of the doors that hold the extreme patients captive.

Then I sense it. Right in front of me, I line of mountain ash. Scott, Ava, and Derek do the same.

"Aren't you coming?" Morrell questions while stepping over the mountain ash without a care.

Derek shoots her an acknowledge glare, rolling his eyes.

"We can't get over the ash." Derek sighs and narrows his eyes at Morrell.

Morrell gives as an amused smile.

"Yes. But she can get over." Morrell humors to Derek's stupidity.

I thought she was a Druid. Aren't they supposed to know the unknowable?

"I can't get over the ash." I acknowledge.

She laughs. I can feel annoyance boiling in my chest.

"Can you?" Morrell snickers under her overally amused tone.

Rolling my eyes, I choose to prove my statement.

"Look. See," I exclaim while pushing my hand through the barrier, but to my surprise, I make it through, "H-how?"

"Well, your the oldest and rarest supernatural creature there is," she explains, "Your kind was around far before mountain ash even existed."

I thought back when we got Tracy and brought her to the animal clinic. I couldn't get through the ash then. Why would I know?

"But, I couldn't before." I question.

"That's because you were in the early stages. You weren't yet immune to the barrier force." Morrell explains thuroughly.

Realizing that I am off task, I choose to accept it and push forward.

Crossing the barrier fully, I follow Morrell deeper into the complex. Before turning the corner, I glance over my shoulder at Scott for permission. He gives me an assuring nod. Acknowledging it, I smile at him and dissapear around the corner.

It's darker in this part and the lights that attempt to light up the hall flicker horrendously. With every step I make, my feet echo throughout the room.

Screams echo the hallway and people reach out of there cells for me. Crying out for mercy.

Some of the people here are extremely deformed, while other seem perfectly normal. It makes me think what Eichen House thinks they are really accomplishing here.

As we approach the last door in the hall, I hear a familiar muffled scream come from inside.

Noah.

Darting past Morrell, I try the locked knob of the door. But even though I know it's locked, I continue to forcefully try to open.

"What. Why is he in there?" I plead for an answer.

Morrell's face becomes serious as she dangles keys in front of my face.

Snatching them violently from her grasp, I rush myself to unlock the door. Still getting no explanation from Morrell. As the door opens, the screams become more clear. I dart my way down a small flight of stairs and into a room. Cobs webs and rumble everywhere. Rays of moonlight scatter the room causing me to draw my attention to the ceiling where it crawls with hole leadint up to the grond floor. People then walk by and kick the dirt through the hole.

Then as my eyes search the room, a symbol lays on the wall. The symbol looks like a backwards "5" or a badly drawn "S". Actually, I recongnize this symbol. My father, Scott, and Issac seemed to have one imprinted behind there ear. Beside the symbol, is a broken wall with a mummy-like figure inside.

Eyes wandering once again, I notice a dark silouhetted figure in the far corner of the room.

"Noah?" I question while cautiously walking toward the figure.

Soon the figure morphs into something else. It moves into the light to reveal a black wolf. It's eyes glow a golden yellow. The wolf continues to growl and snarl at me.

"Noah?" I repeat with a more demanding tone. "What's wrong with him!" I demand towards Morrell.

Raising her hands, she shrugs. "Don't know. But to my best guess, it's because of the absence of the Nemeton."

"What do you mean?" I question.

"You felt the change, right?" She answers.

I did. That's when my powers spiked in the woods and burned the ground. And when the Nemeton was in trouble, it spoke to me. But in my mother's image. Or maybe...

"The Nemeton's absence will effect the paranormal in different ways. Noah not being able to shift back into human, your lack of control over your powers, and Beacon Hills sinkholes. Beacon Hills is falling apart without the Nemeton. And soon your friends out there will change. Some more than others." Morrell gestures to Noah.

"Who could have the power to do this?" I reply, my eyes still locking on Noah's condition.

"I have a feeling that you already know the answer to that." Morrell acknowledges.

She's right. The dreams i've been getting. They were warnings from the Nemeton. Warning of the the threat that will come to Beacon Hills. But I was too late. They were already here and now Beacon Hills is paying for it.

"What about Noah?" I curiously ask, biting on my lower lip.

She gives me a sweet assuring smile.

"I will watch over him until the threat is gone and the Nemeton is restored." Morrell assures.

Nodding, I curiously watch Noah. I know behind those murderous golden eyes, he's in there. I crying out to all of us.

I need to save Beacon Hills before it ends up the way it did in my dream. And I need to do it fast.

I need to find the first werewolf pack.
